Been MIA as I have a big board exam at the end of April that will largely determine what I'll be doing for the rest of my life :-D no pressure haha.

Not a major update, but I think this'll have to do for my entry.  One of the options was pictures for your country.  Last time I used up all of the monuments that I routinely see, so I'll revert to the changing of the seasons that would have worked for the prior entry.  It has been a long time coming, but spring has finally sprung in the DC area:

So I finally see why I am happy I bought Iron Hearts. Here is why: I had decided this week to hang my contest pair up in exchange for lightweight Nudies, I figured that was sensible since the weather was getting hot and humid.  Well I went out boarding with some friends and one of them has diabetes.  His sugar began to drop half way between my house and a gas station so two of us made a dash for the gas station to get him something.  I got there and back and low and behold.  My Iron Hearts are twice as old and have seen more boarding so this is my justification for having bought them now.

 

P.S. I still love my Nudies they just wont be getting that kind of action again.

Wow, FLDenim, that is a big rip!

 

Well, my s5000 are starting to give up in the crotch area after 8,5 months of wear. But it seems that most of the wear of the material started after I started to commute by bicycle to work.

 

So, since they started to become see-through in the crotch area I decided it is high get them repaired and fix the cuff at the same time. Handed them in at Unionville at Sodermalm in Stockholm, Sweden, I think they will do a great job fixing them up.

Day one in KL.  Just touched down in Malaysia today and realized that I may not be able to wear 25oz in this weather.  I was sweating bullets.  I don't know how people do it.  Even at night it was almost too much.  Not so sure how many more trips like this I will be able to take before I return to the states, so Im hoping that this one will be special.  Sorry that these aren't detail pics, but maybe I can follow up with some before I leave.  Might even sneak in a beach wash since I have no idea the next time I will be close to one since I am from Nebraska.  Cheers!

Our youngest Heavy Champ, my boy Tommy in his exclusive IH MTT (Mega Tommy Tron) jeans. He hasn't worn them too much as I screwed up on the measurements that I gave to Haraki thinking that he outgrew his first pair so fast.....these will last him until he's 15 at this rate ha ha.

I went home to my parents over easter. Little Lindesberg, home of Agustubuller, the biggest punkfestival in Sweden back in the days. Now it's just a small town with 10 000 people that can call itself a city thanks to queen Kristina back in 1642. 

I took an early walk in the sun to have an american breakfast at my mate's house today. It was a great day for a walk, a terrible day for a hangover.
