Cool. You better visit sometime Somar! Barbecue and icecold beer at my place.

I think I've only been to the metropolis Degerfors once, can't remember what it looks like. Hm, I wonder if it was Banana Moon you bought it at. Or Najzprajz.

Oh well, always fun to hear stories about people having connections to Örebro like this. Now back to denim business!

Winter can Fuck right off!!!!  Took a pic of our thermometer this morning.  -23 degrees celsius  -39 with the Windchill.

We had a week of positive temps before this bullshit set in last night.  So cold my wifes truck froze up while we were skating.  Spent an hour outside trying to boost it.

12 months (soon) - No wash

Just a few days now until i've worn these 365 days, just took a few pics now before I leave them for repair and as soon as a get them back they'll get their first wash. You can really see the patina on the thighs now.

Took a couple lap shots in direct sunlight today, just with my iphone. Tough to see, but the thighs are developing an interesting texture.

And the wear spot from the fly denim on the inside (below and to the left of the fly)

IMG_1258_zps7d678e03.jpg

And finally the two spots most in danger of ripping through (besides the crotch which is growing thin..)

Chapstick:

And spit tobacco:

Probably going to get their first wash in about a month, more to tighten them back up than anything else, as they've grown a bit loose in the waist despite my always wearing a belt.

EDIT: Last two shots were taken indoors near a window, hence the different color

It's been snow like crazy here in NYC, so I thought, what better way to disinfect my denim, by burying them under a foot of snow...

Time to do the monthly update! Almost halfway to the finishline now boys.

My Steel Feathers are holding up quite well. I've had to do some repairwork but I guess that's expected from 100% cotton threads.

The jawns are a little less blue in reality. I've tried to set it straight with a tad of vibrance adjustment but I didn't wanna go nuts with it.

The patch has gotten some cracks in it but came back to life after two turns of minkoil treatment.

Loving the traintracks on the backpockets more and more.

Last but not least a shot on the fabric for the pockets and yoke. Can't wait to see the threads true rainbow color showing through.

So you are going to make some tailor repair dirty potentially smelly jeans and then you are going to wash them?  Don't like your tailor much do you?

He didn't seem to mind, and  if I wash them before the repairs the holes will just get bigger. And i cant really say that the smell..

Hey guys, been a while – I´m knee-deep in my final exams right now, which means a lot of studying… first exam was yesterday, the next is going to be next monday, and then two oral exams in april…

Anyway, I took the time to take new pictures, including two of me doing home-improvement. Maybe that counts for the challenge? I´m not really the hard-working-kinda guy… ;)

Here goes:

So there you have it. Still no wash, by the way… I´m thinking of keeping it that way until a very special date in june… but I´m not sure about that. Yet.

I should be doing an update again, everyone's jeans look incredible.  I am leaving for North Carolina this Friday for a rock climbing trip I have been looking forward to.  That alone should really make my one year wash necessary.

I will be taking a family vacation to Morocco at the end of March for little over a week and will get some good quality wears.  I imagine lots of walking, so I'm planning on washing my jeans when I get back.  Looking forward to both the trip and wash :)

Since SENY's repairs on my 666-XHS only lasted about a month, when the first hole appeared on my MBBs, I decided to go a little heavier.

25oz off cut reinforced crotch means I shouldn't have any more problems until these are retired.
