If I remember correctly that’s their military last, lots of nice JP makeups in black shell that I’ve seen. 1733165

No problemo. That makes it easier to find money. How much are we looking at? Let me know the specs some time and if/when I need to preorder.

Thoughts on the Lofgren tanker boots? Unsurprisingly nice looking (to me anyway) and expensive. Not sure about the shaft height and the buckle system though. It seems like the shaft collapses onto itself a little too much.

I think they look pretty cool, but they're a bit too similar to being engineers without being engineers for my taste. I wish they would use that leather on their engineers or donkey punchers though.

Not for me, like you say the shaft collapses and I think they are going to look worse as time goes on.

I like the new Lofgrens. They have more of a military feel to them than engineer boots. I wouldn't mind owning a pair.

Coupen in Bison black, been wearing it for a year or so,

Heels still staying strong but wearing quite fast for occasional wear boots.

How does MOTOR sizing work on engineer boots?  True to size?  @dudewuttheheck

They fit similar to my lace up boots, so UK sizing for my feet. I have a 9H in the lace ups and I wore a 9H when I tried on the engineers and I am a size 10.5 on a brannock.

Hello boot lovers I'm sorry I have only just posted this now but iv only just stumbled on it myself but if anyone has ever wanted boot trees but never did because of the cost do yourself a favour and check out "Woodlore" The Boss boot trees they are reasonably priced at $50.00 US but for the next few days they have a two for one offer and that extends to normal shoe trees as well .

anyhoo happy stomping .

I’m not having the collapse: I am finding them comfortable and easy on/off. I do prefer the black, which looks more dark brown in real life.

I do think they will look better with age :)

The weird creasing I  the tongue area would suggest otherwise.

The toe box looks great.

If you like them it's fine.

Lol Nick's boots edited their instagram post as it mentioned Red Wing and Ariat earlier as being mass produced. :laugh2:

love my RWs, though with work and life getting in the way they’ve been reduced to being used for weekend getaways.
