Anyone think the new Wesco chukka boots just look...off?
I remember I posted these before, but something just doesn't add up.

A couple of layer leather heel stacks will do

i took my lofgren m43’s out for an inaugural rainy walk today. i’ve had them since june so they’ve only seen dust in their lifetime. you can’t see from the photo but the front half of the right boot is much nappier than the left. it bothers me a good deal. does anyone know of an easy way for me to make the left boot nappy as well? this is my first really experience with rough-out.

@roomtemplacroix - agreeing with @the shivman - suede brushing may well do it, but my experience with redwing pecos [which I know is not same quality control / standard as lofgren] is that the nap length is not standard, even within panels of the boots themselves... one boot has a really nappy panel at the front of the shaft...

... the other boot has very nappy pull up straps...

the nap is matched on the vamp tho...

Received my Arpenteur x Paraboot Elevage boots, these are pretty much exactly what I've been looking for in a chelasea boot.
They're made with an oiled nubuck leather, so they do kind of have a Blundstone vibe to them.
Size 45 feels perfect size wise, not much wiggle room once they're on so my feet don't slide around.
