Bought some White’s that after a couple wears I have deemed to be too big.

Up for sale or trade for size 11.

Does anyone know how Wesco and red wing sizes compare to whites? I have size eleven Wesco Packers and 10.5 RW merchants. If these would work on my feet I'd cop them in a minute

At the risk of turning this into an ugliest boots thread, I spotted these Clinch on a Japanese chap's instagram. I just hope it's removable.

I did something like this in grade school with a metallic sharpie.

I feel like this is that whole “is the dress gold or black?” meme that happened in 2016.

Those boots just look to me like they are polished black engineer boots with a lot of artificial light shining down on them.

Here’s a pic of mine in less light.

Has anyone here actually tried to put insurance on their shoes or boots?  Just curious.  Have no idea if this is even possible.

edit:  apparently, you can put insurance on them.

I have herd that you can insure pretty much anything granted your are willing to pay for it and a person who can write up the policy. I have herd of high end glass art that is used for smoking being insured as art.

White's semidress resoled by Ger Wijsman in Nederlands.
Went from Vibram 700 midsole + Quaubaug heels to Dr Sole raw cord full outsole and black rubber heel. Huge change comfort wise, Dr Sole is unbeatable...

Looks great. How much higher is the heel now with the full sole vs. half sole before the resole?

Just a few mm according to Ger Wijsmans, enough to accommodate the thicker sole.

Volvo, have you noticed a difference in the weight of the boots now when wearing them?

It's not noticeable when wearing the boots.
