Pics? So $260 total or $220 total?

Watch costs $225-250, but I think the composite case may have been discontinued. I've replaced straps and crystals and serviced it for a long while. Currently it needs a new crystal, they cost $40 at most any jeweler, and is a common, in stock fitting. My turnaround has been about 4-6 days.

Free, for real. Nice adult, everyday watch. Moving on from a portion of my life, I would like someone else to own it.

wondering what you guys think of these electronic or iwatches and if they will ever catch on? I think its only a matter of time

here is an example of the HD3 Slyde that retails for like $5000-6000

That's cool but it just reminds me of putting an ipod shuffle on your wrist.

For $5K?

I'd rather have an automatic movement that was made with precision in Switzerland with high quality parts by a watchmaker than any electronic garbage made in Asia.

looks cheap. I like watches that either:

a) make you look like you have a room full of gold doubloons that you swim in sometimes

B) make you look like you can dive 100 meters, and are also maybe a spy

c) make you look like you do black ops for a living

d) make you look like you fly a Boeing 707 for Pan-Am or like to use typewriters

Seiko's a great daily wearer. Nice black on black.

That '65 Omega's gonna look beautiful after restoration. Timeless.

Nice to see you're still around

love it... I like they left the outside ring original... so you know it's old.

What did it look like before the work? I'd have a real hard time taking a vintage piece and turning it new again. Did you keep the original dial, hands, etc.?

My daily wearers:

SBDB001 - haven't seen this one worn around here, but nice to see other Spring Drives

SCVS013 - wife picked it up for me in a japanese dept. store for about $200. not bad, with sapphire, skeleton back and cordovan strap.
