oh shit Zubin, I have respect. Motivation is such a fucking sick song. and The Growth. oh god damn based god. #swag #cook #chef #knife #steak

also I gotta say dude respect for the whole "playing position" thing I love that shit :D

edit: playing position, basic strategy that fucks noobs up in husng: 4x big blind when on the button, they call, they check from first position when the flop comes, pot sized bet (8x big blind) they fold. works too often.

Wow, next level. Im from uppsala, and did my master´s there aswell. What are you studying/doing?

i was walking through Tower City in Cleveland today when I heard someone call out "what up playa". of course i looked up. saw some old dude smiling at me holding out his hand for a pound.

not wanting to offend the friendly locals (plus i try not to leave a brother hanging) i started to reach my arm out slowly to acknowledge + receive (pause) when i heard some other old dude say "what up playa", turned my head around and realized he was talking to the guy behind me.

my arm got to about 45 degrees, then i tried to play it off like i was stretching. i hope those old dudes didn't notice.

Is it 'oop-sah-lah'?

Crushin' on Sweden as a country of choice, but it seems uptight on religion and booze/drugs, so our relationship would probably never work out. Despite gangly blonds and well-designed everything.

Sweden uptight on religion? First i ever heard of it.

They are not uptight about religion what so ever. Also, at least in Uppsala, all the uni-students do is party 6 days a week. Every night is a different club night and usually every night there is a party somewhere within the living accommodations.

Besides, IMO if you are going to study abroad why bother finding a place that closely resembles home? It seems to defeat the purpose of the experience.

i met up with some of my boys (who i graduated hs with) this week

one guy is now ski beatz's assistant and is meeting industry dudes left and right

another guy told me he quit college for a year and went to teach english in india instead

i can't help but feel like what i'm doing (usual college BS) is so inconsequential and fucking meaningless. sure, i'm in the process of setting up a big photography experiment at my school and i'm volunteering to work with little youngins, but still.

I haven't had a bite of Indian food for a good year now, so I went for Indian for dinner by myself earlier tonight.

I admit that I'm not very experienced with Indian food, other than with your basic curries and masalas. Add some naan, yogurt, and mint sauce, and that's all I've really had.

So I'm looking at the menu, and I spot something called onion salad and below it "onion and potato salad". I'm thinking it sounds interesting, probably comes with some mint sauce or something (no picture in the menu), so I order it along with chicken masala and a fried veggie platter .

The food comes, and the salad is LITERALLY a plate of ice cold boiled potatoes, and a MOUNTAIN of RAW RED ONIONS on top of it. Really?

Oh here's the confession: I ate it all mixed with masala because I hate wasting food when I don't have to. God I regret that. What the fuck.

I usually dont give homeless people anything, but this dude was looking real sad and asked me to help him out with some food, so I handed him the burger I was eating.

Tough times. Dude got a half eaten burger and I am still hungry.

a friend and i were in the city walking around and there was this old guy in union square that was panhandling yelling, "i'm 70 years old! i haven't eaten for 5 days!" i could see my friend feeling super bad for him but we ended up just walking away. and then i watched Groundhog Day last night and saw the part where Bill Murray is trying to help the old homeless man. then i felt kinda bad. i've had a bad experience with bums in sf (i think i was with jj, timber, and sandy and we were in the mission with the bum lady chasing us with sour cream hands)

my mom doesn't like the idea of giving homeless people food. she says, "DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING TO EAT! THEY'RE GOING TO GET FOOD POISONING AND SUE YOU!" lol wat? so much for doing some good.

I was waiting at a stoplight and a homeless guy came up to me. I was flat out of cash so I told him, "Sorry, got no money right now" to which he replied, "Me neither!" and smiled.

Someones getting a pocketful of change the next time I see him.

used to make DIY accordion weather tents for the homeless in Baltimore.

http://www.instructables.com/id/SHELLHOUSE---%5Bliving-portable%5D/

Then I was at a red light, and a homeless dude asked me for money. I didn't have any cash and said so. He then called me a variety of racial slurs, only a few of which applied to me.

I don't really give anything to homeless dudes anymore. I think the money is better spent donating to good programs like "food not bombs" instead.

Waited almost six months to see my consultant and finally got things moving in the right direction. Am so underweight my stats weren't even on their BMI wall chart which was scary. But now scheduled to see specialists for my chest, my legs, a dietitian, and finally getting a review on my IV treatment. By the end of the year everything should hopefully be ok (or at least under control) :)

Eating healthy is just plain disgusting, working out gives me nausea, cold sweats, and lightheadedness to the point I feel I may faint nearly every time (seriously. Not sure why), cigarettes are probably part of that problem, and way to expensive to keep buying, blows for art fag rockstars and white girls with too much of daddy's money (which I have little of) and running has never ever ever fit into my vocabulary and til spring comes the streets are too treacherous and my clothes too nice to try riding the bike

Really at a dead end right now with how to get this whole 'get healthy/in shape' resolution off the ground :,(
