Great to hear! Always a nice experience to deal with you wether it's just a simple question or a purchase - just how customer service should be in my book.

I suppose you're not very disappointed about your neighbours.

Best of luck with the new store!

Congratulations Danny, that is great news for all UK denimheads, especially those of us who live in London. I'll definitely visit the shop, looking forward to it.

EDIT: are you wearing a pair of William Lennon boots in that photo?

Many thanks. Look forward to seeing you there. The boots are by Hemi Pou of Last & Loom, Christchurch NZ.

Congratulations Danny.

The denim scene in the UK (and further) has had a huge bump thanks to Rivet & Hide, and the shop will only further your efforts to spread the word on quality denim and clothing.

It'll be great for people to be able to come along and hangout with you guys in person and check out the quality of your clothing.

It makes a great difference being able to see the items in person and have advice on hand, which is why you've always good at what you do.

I'll see you on opening day!

Good luck.

warm beer in england is a complete myth. ale's are served at room temp at worst, but not beer. never once have i had or saw a warm beer in england.

Last time I was in London, I ordered a Guinness.  It was waaaaaay too cold - that shit froze my mouth off.

I’ve admired the Wild Child Wallet for some time now. This is a collaboration between Kiya Babzani of Self-Edge and Samuele de Goede and executed by the sterling leather craftsmen of The Flat Head.

When Kiya offered this item to Rivet & Hide I didn’t need to give the idea any consideration. This is one special wallet.

The Wild Child wallets are mainly made of harness leather cowhide, but the darker, centre part on the spine is cordovan, so you can get a nice idea of the contrast between how the two leather types feel and age. It has a silver ring in the middle and card slots inside. It looks thick when new but flattens out nicely with time. It’s a simple, classic-styled wallet that will last for many years of constant use.

Despite its classic style is has a huge amount of storage, like a biker wallet does, with lots of space for cards and bills. The cordovan part is made from Shinki leather. You don't get much better than Shinki. It has a smooth, glossy feel and requires very little maintenance.

They come in tan and black. The former has yellow pig skin lining and red pig skin for the black.

-Cowhide Body

-Cordovan Outer Protector

-Pigskin Lined

-Sterling Silver Chain Ring

-6 Card Slots

-2 Inner Hidden Slots

-5" x 4"

.5" thick (empty)

-Crafted in Nagano, Japan, by Flat Head for Wild Child

This week we received the 6006W indigo denim jacket from The Flat Head. Made from the 14.5 oz. 3XXX denim used on the Pioneer series jeans (3001/3002/3005/3009/F310/F380).

We stock it in the one wash version so there will be no further shrinkage. The design takes its inspiration form the 1950s type ll denim jacket. What is really noticeable from the one wash version is the different hues of indigo coming through already. Worn to pulp this jacket fades like no other.

We have also added some red ZP-10w Loopwheeled Zip Parkas from The Flat Head. The tubular knit produces and incredible soft but substantial fabric that is heat retaining. It has been rinsed once, will have no further shrinkage, and coming from TFH will keep its shape. This is an all year round garment.

We also received the first denim jacket from Railcar Fine Goods. The Deuce is based on a Type ll using the same 14.75 oz. Cone Mills denim as the X002 and X012 jean. The jacket has a meticulous triple-stitch needle construction.

It has a heavy two piece lower waistband with continuous tucked chain stitch. The pockets are reinforced with copper washer riveting.

The Hank Granddad is made from the incredibly soft Supima cotton and is Indigofera's take on the Henley shirt.

ade from Supima which is often referred to as “the cashmere of cottonsâ€, Supima is soft and strong being 35% longer than regular cottons.

It's been a busy week starting work on our new Central London store. But we were really pleased to get 3sixteen 11BSP & 21BSP jeans. They are wholly made in Japan from 18 oz. unsanforized denim and come in a straight (11BSP) and slim tapered (21BSP).

The denim itself oozes texture and character. It has a rough feel at first due to the low tension weave but promises to yield some great fades with wear. The last image is the 11BSP worn for 14 months and washed 7 times by Andrew Chen co-owner of this great denim brand.

James (model) is wearing a size 32w in both styles. He is 188cm and weighs 83 kg.

21 BSP (Slim/tapered)

those are my #1 contenders for my fall pair. there are actually more pictures of that exact pair in the selfedge thread. I think they were posted around early November.

edit: didn't realize the link has more photos of the worn in pair. freaking love that denim.

We just added The Thurston Vest to our Indigofera collection. It has a more fitted silhouette than the Floyd Vest.

It uses indigo-dyed jersey cotton that will fade with wear. We've been trying it on with lots of shirts we carry and it just looks great with them all.

Iron Heart is now available from us online as well as at our store. We will gradually add to our collection and have recently stocked the IH-666-19L jean which comes in a one wash. The denim is pretty remarkable for its depth of indigo and texture.

The 666, otherwise known as The Devil's Fit, is a winner for anyone who likes it slim all the way through with no strong taper.

You need to size up here. I wear 31w or 32w in most brands, just like James who is modelling. We both need a size 33w in this jean.

The 21 oz. Super Black Rider's Jacket had to be here for the opening of  our new Central London store next month. I have coveted this for some time.  It is one of the most impressive denim jackets on the market. It will not fade. The shoulder pleats make it a very comfortable jacket to wear from the go.

Also in is the Golden Nugget from Bybeatle. Made from 8 oz.denim it takes its inspiration from the 1920-30´s work shirt and is woven using a non bleached weft thread. It will develop a unique vintage fade with wear and wash. It is unsanforized but has been washed once so expect no further shrinkage.
