I just returned from The Flat Head and Real Japan Blues SS14 show. Awesome as ever.

They have this beautiful example of a faded 12 oz. 7002w shirt. The denim oozes with character and the camera just about picks up the nep in the fabric. Our special edition K0011 jean is made from the same denim. I need to stock this shirt too.

These look great just wish they made them with a longer length.  At 6'4" I can't go below 31" for a shirt length.

Have you considered this special edition flannel from The Flat Head? The body and sleeves are considerably longer than other FH flannels whilst the chest and shoulders size the same. Definitely a shirt for taller guys.

started a pair of Hiut slim selvedge today. nice fit on the top block but the legs are a little looser than i normally wear. do they settle in?

The jeans will mould to your legs like other raw denim. As they creases form they'll settle but they won't become any narrower.

Being sanforized most of the shrinkage is out already.

When you fall for a Flat Head shirt there is no going back.  'We are particular about our clothes'  soon becomes a familiar mantra. Custom woven selvedge fabrics, unique designs, and the best in Japanese craftsmanship combine to bring us truly special pieces.

We end this season's collection with the Glory Park medium weight flannel. The fabric has an uneven, vintage texture that with wear will soften and increase in character. It has an understated ivory base with contrasting raspberry red threads.

We carry it in both western and work shirt versions. The western has pearloid hexagonal buttons rarely seen on shirts these days

The Flat Head indigo houndstooth heavy flannel has been a real success. We sold most sizes within days.
So I grabbed the last few work shirt versions and we now have sizes 38, 40, and 42 in stock. The fabric is insanely beautiful. It was so difficult to weave a limited amount was made. A great shirt for the cold winter months ahead.

I can usually choose presents for other people but get totally stuck when asked what I want myself. We carry some pretty cool stuff other than denim and apparel so we put together a gift ideas page in place until Christmas to offer some inspiration for anyone who needs it.

The workshop will be covered every day until Christmas so get in touch if you need a denim fix or anything else and remember we're having an open day with booze and mince pies on Saturday 14th 1200-1700. You're all welcome. Shopping is not obligatory but having a drink with the boss is.
