you might listen to the music, but you dont hear it...youre too busy giving it a grade....

Hahaha. That sounds like some shit you pull out every time you get backed into a corner during a music arguement.

the bled, like, changed the way i hear music dude. i thought i knew rock...now, i like *LIVE* rock. and, like, feel it'n'shit. the colors. the colors!

wow...its rare to find a fan of The Bled...there first album makes other acts of the same genre sound like wussies...i usually hate screamy stuff but i LOVE The Bled...best scream in the buisness...bloodcurdling...if any of you like it heavy and noisey but with a touch of melody check them out

CMF, some great choices.

Picking just three is almost impossible, but I'll pick these:

Bob Dylan & The Band at Manchester Free Trade Hall 1966 aka Live at Royal Albert Hall aka Bootleg Series Vol 4 Disc 2

Rolling Stones Let It Bleed

Velvet Underground and Nico

Honorable mentions:

Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced?

New York Dolls

Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers LAMF

Television Marquee Moon

Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks

Nirvana Nevermind

haha.

Bakesale is a stronger album IMHO. Specially b/w the incredible 4 song EP.

Green mind. Start chopping was great as well.

Second Poly's call on Siamese Dream. That is a rock album. Saw them play that out so many times in London.

Gotta go waaaaay back further than Urban Hymns though ... A storm in heaven, anyone? properly knocked the socks off of me when I first heard it.

actually that was a nod to a line from that crappy 90's movie White Men Can't Jump....i have no idea how I recalled such an obscure quote...but it suits you just as well as it suited Woody Harrelson.

my theory on why the verve slowly began to suck is that ashcroft got the girl that jason pierce lost. loneliness breeds creativity? that's why j. spaceman is still fuckin rocking while richard is putting out cheesy, adult-contemporary pap. i guess it's a toss-up as to who wins in the end.

i would say my theory is, they always sucked, and that lawsuit for stealing material didn't help band momentum
