Mr Bob Harris you are another of the sheep and obviously don't know what you are looking at. The rad shop you like is Flatspot their website is www.flatspot.com if you've never heard of them before you can't be from Devon or Cornwall as they have been going for years. So many better shops in Devon and Cornwall so you say, I would like you to list them and I doubt if you could manage five. Nike SB's woopiedoo and Stussy for fsake are not exactly hard to come by. Flatspot definitly do some good stuff and they are doing good things for Plymouth but for you to slate SOUL LIFE for being crap just underlines the label hoare attitude that you must have. I advise you get your head out of your arse.

If you think Soul life is crap then you are saying the same of the companies and artists we represent. Soul life stocks amongst others, Alprausch, Banksy, Faile and Sickboy, Braveland Design, Brown Bubble, Camper, Fifty24SF and Upper Playground, Fly53R135, Hixsept, Howies, Monkeylikeit, Pure Evil, Ubiquity Records. Oh and we do have magazines but mainly free zines and some good books, tokion and arktiip are cool but they do cost a bit. You slate these then you really don't know what you are on about.

You were looking in Flatspot their website is http://www.flatspot.com They've been going for years didn't you know.

I don't think you are in a position to criticise when you obviously don't know what you are looking at.

What defines a crap store? Just because Soul life dosn't stock what you personally like doesn't mean that the store is bad. By criticising the store you are also disrespecting the work of the artists and organisations we have the pleasure of stocking.

Honestly

Alprausch, Banksy, Braveland Design, Brown Bubble, Camper, Faile, Fifty24SF, Fly53R135, Hixsept, Howies, Kuldesac, Lazy Oaf, Monkeylikeit, Pure Evil, Putsch, Stolen, SuckUK, Ubiquity records, Upper Playground and much more.

I think the most ignorant 1st post.

I have to disagree, soul life is NOT crap. I'm origanally from manchester and now live in Plymouth, obviously there are a lack of decent shops in plymouth compared to cities like manchester and london. Plymouth is full of chain stores and when soul life opened I thought what a refreshing change somewhere different to shop, with a good selection of really nice stuff and reasonably priced. Also they have some lovely hand made jewellery. So sorry bob but coming from london I dont really think your opinion counts.
