Just tracked down and purchased what FIL Tokyo said is the "only pair" of light brown size 11 grizzly boots in Japan. Thanks Ruco, and sharp service!

I love Visvim and have been for many years but what saddens me in the last couple of years is the lack of communication on Hiroki's part why does the things he does.

A second hand Visvim shop, Boro style, african beads, and a real life tee pee in the showroom but nowhere is the story of Visvim found

Is it pure money making on aesthetics as quoted above or is he providing people in africa and japan with a good honest wage and selling their craft to a larger audience,hence the higher price

I have traveled the globe and always looked for specific thing the locals make and I found top stuff there but nowhere as expensive as Visvim

And as they keep making their stuff in China the perception of Vis making money of the tribes instead of cooperating with them look against them..

But again that is my perception, not looking to grow all third world aid on Vis as it is still a business looking to make money in things they love. They could be sponsoring tribes for their cooperation but they don't show that to the public..

Hope to god that's not the case, i'm in Japan under 2 weeks and was after a pair….hoping I get mad lucky and find a size 12 or 11 somewhere. On a side note i'll be visiting every FIL store on my trip.

sanjuro kimono comes in indigo, lt indigo, and beige. lhamo shirt comes in indigo, lt indigo, and lt brown. lhamo shirt 51k yen, sanjuro 93k yen. looks like both are releasing this saturday. hopefully there will be no more questions?

Shoes are a pass for me, Russel moc boot and a pair of Alden indys with a vibram sole are already in my collection.

Jeans stuff looks a bit ordinairy, bet it feels great though..

I will be on the hunt for one of those sweat those look fantastic.

does albacore shirt run big? i normally wear M on vis but humanbehaviour.com measurement on albacore is a bit weird ..
