^^^Brad if they are get the measurements first. the old 505's were 1 inch undersized in the waist. they are great jeans btw some of my favorites.

^^They are my absolute favorites in the LVC line, although they're not stf, they are gorgeous.

IMO definately one of the better models. since i was bitching about LVC fit, let me go the other way and compliment the fit on the 505's with them being 1 inch under in the waist they give me the same fit as my STF's in the same tagged size. great jeans; so of course they moved production of them to Turkey which i refuse to pay a premium price for.

Too small for me, just curious. If they're made in USA, I'd say that's worth mentioning. Great cut on the 505's for sure.

Hey everyone,

I've actually got a LVC 1897 Raw Selvedge Pleated Blouse with blanket lining, that I'm looking to sell. I've never quite worn it as much as I though that I would, so it's still in pristine condition. It's a size Small, but the fit is a little boxy on me so I would recommend it to someone a little bigger looking to size down.

Here's the link to my selling page and a pic:

40 wears, initial soak, damn these are tough to fade

You're going to need 12 hours of daily wear for two or three months before you're going to see much of anything.

Thx, This sunday I went with a small. The medium was a little too roomy for me but I am normally a medium in most LVC shirts.

Hey Cory, what size it that? It looks great. Amazing pic as usual. Love the rooster

This Sunday -- The Levi's Meatpacking store was selling that shirt, so it would be easy for you to look at there if they haven't sold out.

I went to that store specifically to get that henley a couple of weeks ago but I decided to get the popover instead. I'll probably go back soon to pick it up.

Seems like a pretty confused pair of pants... little e, leather label and no black thread on the back pockets and fly button holes...Any ideas?

maybe the laurel leaf button was an accident.

Thought I remembered somebody saying that early LVC lacked some details? As you can see... Its made in the USA?

the back pockets are modern. modern arcs & gold post 83 style bar tacks. i've never seen anything like those. they are not LVC or pre-LVC capital E (as evidenced by the tag date)

I thought this was going to be easy, number on the back of the fly button is 643M, pants have selvage?

Sansome, I am sure those are from the Levi's Premium line, or the line that came after known as the Capital E line.

NOT repro's, just "premium" jeans.

Sounds good to me, never knew about that one... Probably worth the $8.00 I paid for them? Thrift store find.

I'm now thinking they are probably Capital E. The "Made and Crafted" took the place of Capital E. I think $8 is a great price for em. They will make great jeans for painting, fishing, etc.

the 643m is consistent with LVC contract garments from the same time frame. well worth $8 and a good pair of knocking around jeans. i think attack is right a levis premium jean probably from the capital e range. (not the same capital e i was referring to earlier. in 1993 there was a capital e. sort of a generic 60's 501 that is recognized as the precursor to the LVC line.)

Hello guys, It's my first post here. I am Denimseeker (ig: denim_seeker).
I have been collecting vintage jackets for a while, esp. denim jackets. Feeling that the denim world deserves a better guide for Levi's denim jackets so I tried my best to make one. The guide is much more complicated than those you see on other websites (i.e. Heddel's or Long John etc) so you might need some basic understanding to read it. This guide is open for comments and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to let me know. This guide is still a work in progress and would be wonderful if everybody in the denim world can contribute.
      That being said, enjoy!

      Hi All,
see you again on 2020 and I wish you all happy new year. this time I need your opinion about Levi's BIG E that I found at flea market few days ago. I found an old Levi's vest (its a jacket once before), this vest do not have a cinch back, I also cannot see the number on the back of button, tag was unavailable. only rivets, red tab and selvedge that I can see clearly. here's I send you the details. Hopefully someone here can give me an opinion regarding this Levi's. Any opinions are welcome, I do appreciated.
      please let me know.

I checked the Encyclopedia thread and only one Levi's link didn't give a 404 error, so here goes nothing. I should add that a lot of the center patch jeans actually aren't vintage (at least the ones I'm looking for) and date back to around 2006. I've talked with Levi's support a handful of times and got nothing out of it. I'm trying to figure out what all the center patch pairs are. I know I haven't quite figured them all out, but I've found a few, though they seem very hard to come by, and obviously aren't currently in production. I'd really like to find a pair with the white "Quality Never Goes Out of Style" center patch. Something tells me I don't have the ideal wording, and if I knew exactly what to type, I could probably find a plethora of those jeans. When I google 519's, I have to block the words extreme or skinny (add a - in front of whatever word you don't want to see in the results) or I get mostly brand new pairs of 519's. Here's what I know so far:

This pair, which can be seen clearly in the first photo and on this store page (which has other photos of the same pair) appears to be 519 slim fit. However, they don't seem to be the normal 519 slim fit. One site I looked at called them "519 slim fit side adjusters". I have looked extensively over the past couple of weeks and was lucky to find that clear photo, as well as that store listing and one Ebay listing which sold a while back. On a side note, I found that 511 skinny leg (or a version, rather) seems to look the same, with the centered white patch and waist adjusters, but they too are hard to find. The 511's and 519's have a white patch that says, "Quality Never Goes Out of Style". There may be others as well.

You may recognize these from the Moonbathing ads. They are part of the "Two Horse Brand" collection, which have a yellow and white patch and say "Two Horse Brand" on the patch. 506 and 511 look identical, while 509 has the addition of a cinch back. There might be other fit numbers I'm missing.

Levi's Engineered has some center patch jeans as well, though I'm really trying to find more of the white patch pairs.
