I just hammered the rivets on these 1933s as they were pulling threads on a throw I have on my sofa! They came out pretty well. I already removed the suspender buttons and may chop off the cinch soon too...

Have you got any spare rivets? My Bulgarian 1937s have just shed 2 of them from the right front pocket!

Happened to me 10 years ago with a single rivet on my 1915s. Get in touch with LVC and they’ll send you some replacements. Also worth contacting your local LVC store - Cinch in London used to have a jar of spare rivets on the counter, I seem to recall.

If you still have the bits can you not just refit it and hammer the end to keep it in place? I don't have any rivets I'm afraid.

I would if I had the bits but I have only got 1 male and no female bits. Waiting to hear back from Cinch. They either came off in the washing machine or when I was stretching them out before wearing them after they had dried in the airing cupboard. Bizarre!

Can anyone help identify these I purchased off eBay last summer but they look bizarre on inspection

based on my knowledge they have the back tab of a 55, the zip like a 54, the cut of a 55, and the arcs of a 66 with a single sided tab

The pocket bags look like the ones on all the "Made In Turkey" ones, maybe that's why the inner tag was removed, the patch is pretty much definitely a 1966 one.

Guys, can anyone share how's the fit on the LVC USA's 55, the batch from the 4420 factory, TTS?  Also, for sale I have a pair of USA 37's W31 L30 in almost new condition, way too big for my butt, so if anyone's interested shoot me a pm (I'm in Europe, if it does matter).

Thanks

I have 2 pairs of raw 55s, from 2007 and 2009, one has a button code of 4420, can’t remember which. Both are tagged 32 waist and measure approx 34.5 raw. Hope that helps.

EDIT: just double-checked, the 2007 pair has no button code and the 2009 pair has a code of 4170 so please ignore my previous advice!

Not sure about my button codes, but look back through my old posts in this thread to find brand new (unshrunk) measurements off my two pairs of '55s. They are recent Cone versions, from within the past three years.

Anyone know what these are?

Just bought them. Pre 2 horse patch and 2 back pockets?! Will probably get them home sometime next week. Also got what seller claimed to be lvc 1983.

These may be the 1901 - the first 5 pocket repro, although I’m not sure if that is the correct patch, I think it should be one with 2 horses. 1983 exist too - something like the old 1978, nothing to write home about I believe.

Sort of a specific question: How was the sizing on LVC Type III jackets from the Valencia St. factory? How much did they shrink? Not sure whether to expect to be a 42 or a 44. For what it's worth, I have a more recent "Rigid Trucker" from Levi's regular line that fits well in a size L.
