3-Layer Knit Coat from IndySents First Collection AW '08 - '09' Metaphysica'

Other details: cut away tail that makes the diagonal hem swoop forward. Another great detail is the generously sized hood - it's functional, not merely decorative.

The ingenious closure system ensures that it's a truly unisex piece. On me -- I wear a women's IT 36-38 --the coat fits beautifully when I place the top hook 3 inches from the shoulder seam. This pulls the shoulders in to fit as well. The fit model (Merz) says closing the coat shut at the center opening allows the coat to fit a small 44 to a 48 with 46-47 being its ideal size. He is a small to regular 44||5'9".

This coat is a substantial 2.5 season coat (3 depending on where you live...) in black. The fabrication is as follows: outer layer is 70% linen, 30% wool; middle layer 70% cotton, 30% wool; inner layer 70% cotton, 30% silk. It can be worn alone, or layered further, serving as the ultimate hoody. Much has been written about it on this forum here.

Item: Maison Martin Margiela Line 22 Thin Heel Tabi BLACK 37.5 New in Box

Hello all,

I have too many Tabi boots from Margiela and this is one pair that I've never really been able to fit because they are a half size too big, but crucially, because I can't wear a 4" heel.

These are exactly the same as the classic column heel Tabis. Since they are AW 09, they have a much improved design in the split toe. It's a clean, better sewn structure rather than the more bulbous split toe constructions you see on the older tabis.

Otherwise, they are back zip, secure with a hook fastening at top and have the expected white stitch on back.

Come with extra taps and boot covers. Good for someone who already has other, basic MMM Tabi's.

This rare double layer shawl cardigan is a size IT 44 (tts, though it could accommodate, in reality, a 42, too). From the absurdly wearable (for Chalayan) FW 2008. Those of you familiar with Chalayan will attest to his hemispheric prices.

DRKSHDW RICK OWENS CURVED SEAM DRESS (SEMI-SHEER) NWT SZ S/M

(I'm wearing it with a Forme D'expression wrap vest that I may have or may not have remembered to list. To tired to care right now.)

OK. Given that it's 4 am, and I am still working, I've decided to dispense with the over-wrought, overly detailed listings.

You all know what these items are. I will only detail a few distinguishing factors about this particular piece. Unlike the iterations of past seasons (read, FW), this is a semi-sheer layering tank made of 100% cotton. The weave is exceptionally delicate, and it is able to maintain its shape-hugging stretchy quality without the use of synthetics because it's cut on the bias and woven from a very delicate, thin, loosely woven cotton.

Unlike the cotton of the heavier cottons used by Rick, this particular fabric does not produce the trademark roll (Rick Roll?) at the hems. You may remove the black strap, but I rather like to keep them on.

Sizing: This one is mid-calf to knee-length. Sized S/M on the cardboard tag, but M on the fabric tag itself...? It fits me (for your reference, I'm 5'4, 95 lbs) but I think it's a tad too large around the shoulders. I would normally take an XS - in Rick, really, almost everything is so tight it could fit me - and so I think the sizing is accurate when stated as a S/M.

Size notes: Labeled Belgian S -- Ann cuts large, especially for the men. A Belgian Small then, is equivalent to an IT 48-50. These shirts were shown worn loose on the runway. Read the measurements carefully to decide if you will be able to wear it as you wish....

Rick OWENS DRKSHDW Berlin Cut Jeans sz 28 x 37 new and unworn * Low rise 9" vs normal 10" but has benefit of being much more slim than the usual Berlin fit.

These are mis-tagged a size 26. I was pretty annoyed when I ordered them, but I figured that someone would want them -- they're a great color after all. A very desired one: scraped black.

These are new with tags and come with the usual set of extra buttons.

Ann Demeulemeester virgin wool/metal off-white peaked lapel blazer

with contrast black piping, single button closure and overlapping sleevehead panel details. the piping contrast continues along the collar, lapels and the hem, as well as the pocket flaps. blazer is fully lined in polished cotton and tagged a size 36, presumably a belgian size, because it fits somewhat larger than that - a men's 44 is able to wear it, although definitely on the smaller side. i don't have the tag with exact material composition, otherwise i'd be able to give more exact material info. the metal fibres in the weave lend a subtle crinkly texture to the wool.

I recently sourced a second skirt from the Hussein Chalayan AW 2002 collection - one that fits me. This is the first one I managed to track down, however, I did not have a chance to wear it. It was simply too large so I'm offering it here.

Fits low on the hips and can be adjusted through the use of canvas straps from 32" to 39".

Again, it's brand new and unworn. And yes, I keep seconds of many items. It's a terrible habit.

This semi-cropped jacket is adorable and versatile. It can be worn over jeans or skirt and would work for nearly any situation. My favorite aspect of this jacket is the attention to detail that many of the Japanese manufacturers place in their designs. The thoughtfulness of the design, characteristic of Yohji, is always jaw-dropping.

CDG TAO Cotton-Linen ( 49/51) Indigo-Dyed Cropped Droped "Monpe" Trousers. Size XS (SS)

New with Tags and Fabric Sample

The design of these pants is after the traditional japanese monpe farmers' trousers, which were most often made of indigo-dyed hemp, linen and cotton (boro). The dropped aspect of the pants is more pronounced in the back, to allow for added comfort while squatting, owing to the design's historical origins. The trousers have no central fly, being instead split on each side at the waist line and closed with a belt attached right above the pleated waistband. Usually the farmers would tuck their kimono/shirts into the baggy hip area and allow the excess fabric to billow out through the open sides. The pants have strips of internally-attached backing fabric that can be used to cover the side openings from the interior, as well as reinforced rectangular patches at the knee level with top stitch detailing.

The waist measurement is roughly 13.5 inches across, measured flat. the total outseam length is 25.2 inches and the leg opening at the cuff is 7 inches across.

Number (n)ine "Bondage" Shorts OSFA New/TAGS

This was a key piece in the last Number (n)ine show for SS 2009 - it was shown on over half the models in some iteration of this, most basic model. It is tagged a Large - but it is essentially One Size Fits All. If you use the belt holes, it will fit a 33"-38" waist, but I am neither of those (w=24.5") and I tied the belt for the below fit pic, in which I am wearing the shorts as a half skirt over a Lost&Found skirt.

This is obviously a men's piece, but it hasn't stopped me before...UNISEX.

This is an awesome wool blend jersey dress that is absurdly comfortable. Can send measurements but for reference, I am 5'4" 97ish lbs. Will definitely fit someone 10 lbs larger than me.

Please PM for measurements - a great dress that can be layered over leggings and flatters many different bodies. It's hard to look bad in this draped piece with asymmetrical skirt.

Costume National (circa 1998) knee high riding boots sz 36.5 (fits 36.5 and 37 perfectly.) I am a IT 37 and US 7 - they fit perfectly.

I bought these back from Costume National was one of the few designers that offered the minimalist design I was looking for. They turned out to be way to big in the calves (I thought I would be tucking my jeans in. I was wrong.)

The feature a crepe sole that will be great for slippery sidewalks in winter. I wore them a grand total of either 1 or 2 times.

They are in perfect condition save for the light scratch marks at the top of the left boot. They aren't noticeable unless you are really looking for them.

Measurements:

Heel: 1 1/4"

Width of Top of Boot: 14"

Inside sole: 9 3/8"

Condition: 9/10 - they are barely worn.

Perfect for foul weather.

I picked up a couple of the Rick Owens Lilies 'Tunica' dress for clients - they look great on most body types and can be worn easily in a work environment.

Note that I am wearing my own 'tunica' dress in size 38 in a different color - 'darkshadow.' The color of the dress sold in this listing is 'dust.' For reference, I am 5'4" ~97 lbs and wear 38 in Rick Owens, XS and S in DRKSHDW and 38 in Lilies. This dress runs true to size if not even slightly larger than Rick's usual sizing.

100% virgin wool. size 3 - for reference, I'm 5'4", typically wear size 1 in Yohji, and am wearing low shoes and a thin tank dress underneath. Bought this with my Yohji expert friend in tow (you know who you are). He says it's more true to Yohji's styling to wear it very oversized. I have several skirts and dresses at this point and would like to edit my closet more.

Number (n)ine "Bondage" Shorts OSFA New/TAGS

This was a key piece in the last Number (n)ine show for SS 2009 - it was shown on over half the models in some iteration of this, most basic model. It is tagged a Large - but it is essentially One Size Fits All. If you use the belt holes, it will fit a 33"-38" waist, but I am neither of those (w=24.5") and I tied the belt for the below fit pic, in which I am wearing the shorts as a half skirt over a Lost&Found skirt.

This is obviously a men's piece, but it hasn't stopped me before...UNISEX.
