Cross post from LVC thread but the jacket is the vintage piece. An early 60's 101J which I got from Robbie.

I have a few other vintage items (as I'm sure many others do) that I'll have to dig around for photo's of. Some I've already posted in the military clothing thread.

As i said before a week or so ago I went digging through my dads closet in my grandma's house. My mom told me that my dad had very weird style when they were growing up, the only person in their school to wear blue jeans. But, that worked out well for me. Besides what i have pictures of I found some old pendelton, a & f, wrangler, and other ranch wear brands. My dad told me he has a lot of other levi's stuff but i need to look in different places.

First pair of 501's tabs are worn of so i dont know if big e or not, my dad was born in 54 so by 71 he would have been 17 so it could be possible for them to be that age, how else do you age levis except for big E?

Got room in here for a little sportswear? Denim and classic European sportswear dominated the football (soccer, some would say) terraces from the 70s onwards...

West Germany-made adidas 'The Face' polo, part of one of the Ivan Lendl tennis range from the 80s and bought with a lot of saved pocket money, back in the day:

And the corresponding trainers, made in Czechoslovakia ('face' logo on tongue - a recent deadstock find):

I'll repost my stuff in the vintage denim thread and lvc thread. The jeans waist is about 2 inches to small, which is a shame, but the shirt fits snug but i wore it open and it fit fine. I'll post up some other non denim stuff i found when i get more time to take pics.

Ok, nothing special about this 60's workshirt. No gussets, cat eye buttons or chin strap, but vintage work shirts kick ass over the modern repro crap with short tails and narrow sleeves. Not to mention they can usually be found for way cheaper with a little hunting. I bought this Sear's shirt a couple years ago unwashed for around $40 (including storage stains on the front) and have been wearing the hell out of it ever since.

Another German-made shirt I found at the same place. Looks to be older, maybe 1930s? I can't figure what this was intended for. It looks sort of like a bib-front dress shirt, but the material is kind of coarse. I would guess a night-shirt, but there are spaces for shirt studs at the collar and cuffs, kind of formal for sleep wear. The buttons are really cool- cut out of actual shell. You can see the curve and part of the rind on each button. The shoulders are elaborately pieced together.

I found an old leather levis jacket at my grandma's that looked a lot like that, from is what bob dylan wore on the cover of the freewheelin' bob dylan. I will post pics later of the jacket.
