I think persistence is the name of the game as far as thrifting goes, and also getting out of crowded cities occasionally to smaller town bergdorf goodwills and salvation armanis.

In the past month alone i've found :

3 pairs of alden loafers

a big mac flannel

and a bunch of vintage Christmas ephemera

another find...same day as the m-65

US made red flannel work shirt...

hidden buttons (which are metal, painted white)

low pocket placement (pic doesn't really showcase this...)

don't know anything about it, liked that it was red and it fit...oh and it was $0.99

Nice pick up. If you're finding stuff in Kamloops, I'm thinking I should hit up the goodwill and sally ann out here in Kelowna and see what they have kicking around.

for sure man, only thing is Kelowna stores tend to get hit a little harder than Kamloops stores. My sister in law lives out there and I try to stop when we go out to visit, haven't found anything yet but could have been off days...who knows. It's definitely worth a shot. As was mentioned earlier, persistence is key, I stop almost every other day.

Good luck, be sure to post your finds!
