Retail was $950 + tax at Atelier. I bought them there, and have been the only owner. Best for size 41.5-42.5. Vibramed since day 1. Originally dark green vegetable dyed, I had Firm NYC object dye them black. Now, after much wear they are a slightly faded black, and wrinkled up beautifully. You can just barely start to see the greenish hints starting to peak through, especially when wearing them with solid black pants. The extra laces are the original color. I have the box and dustbag as well.

Lots of inquiries about the true color of these.

In short, if you are wearing them, they look like solid black color boots. Quite matte, not shiny at all. If you have them off, and are comparing the inside original color to the outside, and inspecting closely, you can pick up on subtle areas where the black overdye has began to fade.

If you are looking for black, these are perfect. I was hoping they would fade more than this by now, so am kinda bored with them lately and almost wish they were green again, hence selling.
