Of which ones?

are they made in ireland?

No they aren't. I live in the US so most of our stuff is from international factories. The ones that I have available are however the same as their Irish counterpart with a different dark brown sole and a different stitching (i know how much that can mean to you guys).

The stitching on a few pairs is different and the inner sole is a dark brown instead of tan. Thats it as far as I know. Like I said...Im in the US i havent run across many Irish made versions.

the irish ones have a stiffer sole and a different insert in the insole. that's really the only difference. i am sure the 'asian' ones are handmade as well. i have multiple pairs of each and can't tell a difference in craftmanship except for what i noted.

the irish ones haven't been in production for years. you cannot get them unless they are Old Stock.

These are still available. I just got in some absolutely awesome corduroy ones in size 8, 8.5, 10, and 11. I may have a 9 as well. For some reason they arent on the Clarks USA website, so check them out here: http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=5000154%7EMens%7CBoots&variant_id=64040&partnerid=Nextag&CMP=OTC-Nextag

I also have in Desert Khans which are low to Desert Boots
