reviews of Iladora's Perfect Pant, Lisa Shirt and Mindy Skirt

(p.s. the Spindle also writes up good reviews of Swrve, Outlier, Mission Workshop etc)

Anyone recommend a good quality plain white tech t shirt, just want something that fits well and feels nice to wear under my veilance jackets.

Looked at the outlier merino ts?

Besides the aforementioned Outlier's merino tees, you can try out:
Icebreaker Anatomica Short Sleeve Crew (merino)
Enfin Leve geruza t-shirt (merino)

Maharishi asym slouch shooter pocket t shirt (3xdry cotton)

Silverback X-Static and Bamboo T shirts (4% silver and 65% bamboo, respectively)

not the modular hood brace but will this do? ;)

I'm fortunate enough to have the old modular scarf, it came with the blazer I just purchased: http://www.firmamentberlin.com/stone_island_shadow/22844/modular_scarf.html

I'm like a crack addict looking for the hood though *scratching neck*

Hey guys! I don't know if this goes here, and I deeply apologize if it doesn't, but this is the only place that I can think of to make my request. I have a pair of size 33 Outlier Keirin cuts, and they are too small for me. If anyone would like to initiate an exchange - with either a larger sized pair of Keirins or any other size 34+ techwear pant - please PM me! The Keirins are in great shape, having been worn only a handful of times; they're colored black.

Not going to neg rep you. But if you are trying to sell or trade something you need to post it in the Urb tech community sales thread or in the supermarket. Don't clog up a discussion thread with post trying to unload your gear.

Here's the sales thread:

I just got the white catch pocket SISP tee from this season that has the reverse print on the front. It's a nice cotton tee that is not see thru. The fit is just perfect.

I also have the black and green from the SS14 collection with the print on the back and in a hot summer day your back can get a little sweaty and sticky.

Didn't have that problem with the white tee walking around Rome in 31 degrees celsius. Would definitely recommend.

Bonus: here's some glitchy fit pic in the vatican http://instagram.com/p/sVjbjCkj6h sorry it's overexposed...

damn been after that scarf for a while, TEKsevenZERO scouted one on the bay but I was hit with a late snipe. these modular hoods are rare but if I see one will give you a nudge. also try stone island themselves they may have one in their archives they're willing to sell.

I bought my wife a couple dresses by theory a few months ago. They are not technical or anything but the construction and fabric quality is really nice. It's one of our favorite brands for women's clothing, the catalog used to look much better when they didn't crop the heads in the pictures.

Tigerprawn, I also own a pair of the 3/4  shorts. Older (think 3rd season. They are easily my favorite pair of cycle wear I own. Keeps the sunburn away from the legs and are surprising breathable . One query though  Mine have a chamois in it ..Are they still doing that or has that gone away??

Speaking of Rapha, the tailored long sleeve shirts are now on clearance. I already own one of these and cannot recommend them highly enough, absolutely incredible stretch and articulation and definitely smart enough to wear for formal/work as well as casual.

They're have a 'tech' line as well, called Theory 38.

Sorry for the shitty picture but I was shopping at Century 21 this past week and picked up this Theory 38 shirt. fabric 100% polyester made in the usa of imported fabric. The body and shoulders are made of regular sports tee material but the arm panels are a honeycomb pattern material thats a little lighter. I think it originally retailed for $130ish I forget what the tag said but it was only $60

I've been in Europe doing the backpacking thing for the last 6 weeks and I've noticed a few things with my techwearish load out:

-outlier shorts are a godsend. Have worn them a fuckload without any real noticeable smell or anything. Super nice to have nearly unlimited range of motion, water resistance, and of course being able to wear them to the beach and then to the bar right after. Water resistance seems to deteriorate rather quickly as the shorts get dirty (but I do understand this can be deactivated with a proper wash and dry). Pockets seem to always get pulled out when I'm in the ocean. Not a big deal but annoying. Some form of sealable back pockets would be sick for security, additional water resistance, and to maybe help prevent the ocean from ripping them out every time I swim in them.

-outlier freeshell seems to get stinky pretty quickly even though it's the same fabric as the shorts? I don't understand.. Also doesn't seem to be breathable. Gets very clammy inside. Obviously this is more noticeable with a jacket vs the shorts. Feels just a tad better than gore with regards to moisture management. I like the sling so that you can pack it up and wear it on your back but the construction was shit and fell apart rather quickly. Hate the fact that this jacket doesn't have any sealable pockets. Flawed design.

-merino fucking stinks. I don't understand the hype at all. It's hotter than cotton and only seems a bit better than cotton with regards to how many times you can wear it before it needs a wash. If it gets even slightly wet, even just from sweating a tiny bit or getting rained on or after a wash and line drying, it has a discernible odor that just smells weird af. After delicately hand washing, I've noticed pilling and threads getting loose. Seen this from Ibex, Outlier, and Icebreaker to a lesser extent. Who knew.

-merino socks fucking stink too

After observing these things, I'm looking for the following products for my next trip:

-A superior alternative to the Outlier Three Way shorts if it exists

-a pair of shorts made of material similar to Outlier keirin cuts/slim dungarees

-good looking t-shirts/shirts that will keep you cool

-an alternative to the outlier freeshell: something packable, water resistant, preferably with a sling, and breathable

A little more on ultralight cuben fibers; seen on outlier's backpack / hyperlite mountain gear. a backpack thread got me interested as people were claiming superdurability on these things.

Re: wool

Idk man, like I said if you are just wearing it dry it smells fine, but if you get it wet the thing smells strongly of wool. Very off-putting in close quarters like a hostel etc. Whereas if you get a cotton shirt wet it doesn't smell like anything

If anyone has suggestions regarding my list of things I'm seeking out I'd really appreciate it! Cheers
