Coulda got some of these

Those are aight but do look like full on tracksuit bottoms. Maybe the black colour way of the CCP trousers would be better but I am not willing to risk it.

If they won't take the refund I will maybe try to wash them and then spray them with grangers xt proofing spray. If that doesn't work, I just wasted £110...

Edit: fuckingshitcuntscum says on their FAQ they don't take overseas returns. I will email them and post results.

Personally I think they may look better on than off, they look a bit 'skinny' if that makes sense ?

I imagine once there is a foot in there and the laces spread a bit hey would look better.

But if you like them well, go for them.

I rarely give a monkey's if others like my stuff or not, mostly they don't !

Try before you buy...I guess - but aren't you in the UK like me ?

I wasn't really 100% thinking of buying them. I was just showcasing them because they seem to fit into the aesthetic (all the logos can be covered by wearing trousers). But thanks for your opinion and yes I am in the UK right now.

Thoughts on these?

On another note, why did slam jam start calling their store socialism? I cringed so hard when I first saw it.

Same reaction to the shoes. Can imagine them being worn by Italians. The distressed denim, and Ed Hardy-esque v-neck kind.

Trying to figure out why I feel that way about a lot of Puma's offerings. Can't get behind the slim foot, chunky hightop look. The MMM Hi GATS also feel dangerously close to that kind of shape.

Outlier refuse shipping to my country, so what another technical tshirt could be best for the heat? Thinking about trying Ministry of supply. Is it a big difference between merino vs some nylon/cotton mix?

Also I need some recommendation on a nice backpack which would not make a waterfall on my back and underarms this summer.

Goddamn Tek, those pants are awesome. If they're good for hot weather I may need to pick up a pair for around here to layer under Gyakusou shorts.

Also, I'm now officially going to win at hide-and-seek on the goddamn moon.

Merino is nice for most situations and doesn't smell from multiple wears. However for high exertion activities in the heat I often go with nylon/poly wicking shirts (no cotton blends). UNIQLO has their AIRISM stuff that comes out around the warmer seasons and has worked well for hot days, water hikes (don't wanna submerge/swim in wool and stretch the stuff out) in 90 degree weather, and the occasional ridiculously hot bike ride.

As for backpacks, something with a suspended frame/back is nice to keep air flow - check out some of the trekking packs from arc'teryx, osprey, deuter, and ortlieb. I have a bootlegger/scrimshaw pack from Boreas and though it lacks a lot of features/pockets/organization it's a pretty lightweight/fantastic pack for hot days on a bike where I need to lug things around and don't feel like showing up a sweaty mess at the end.

So I just finally got a pair of Gyakusou shorts shipped out to this remote island and they're women's. Which is great, since, you know, they weren't advertised that way.

Does anyone know a good place with small gyakusou shorts in stock online? Preferably on sale?

Been wearing a lot arc'teryx for years now and looking for a pair of new pants.

I really like the look of the acronym P10/P13, but can't justify spending so much on pants, yet.

Is there a cheaper alternative with similar features, mostly looking at the motorbike fit. Looking to spend a maximum of 350-400 euros.

Hope you can help me. Been looking at outlier, but that's not quite what I'm looking for.

Schoeller's next Factory Sale is in about ten days — June 18th and 19th.

Any SuFu Swizz MoFo care to proxy?

Summer is upon us and I'm still looking for reviews of linen jackets. More for the list (these use some form of resin coated/waxed linen for weather protection):

Man, you've generally got a good gut sense and I'm going to say trust it on this one. Those are way less impressive than they could be, and the material definitely clashes in a kind of shitty way.

Agreed; the Nike ones Tek posted earlier were great but the Karrimor ones seem a bit off regardless of the price.

Let's be fair, people with William Gibson avatars shouldn't give others too much shit for clinging to a more retro sense of the future.

Hexagons are the future maan!

Ever since I saw Star Wars when it came out there has been 'that' obsession with hexagons, and monochrome, the pull of the dark side was too strong.

Corridors and angular details on stormtroopers......
