sum1 talk 2 me bout the built in tightening mechanism of the p23a and p25h lollllllllll

best feature: self loosens while you're walking down the street

update to this: if you move the 'bunches' of fabric that accumulate on either side of the buckles, they seem to work a bit better. the fabric bunching seems to not allow the buckle to lay flat (which is what locks the straps in place)

Alternatively you could mall ninja it and buy a cam buckle from amazon for $1/piece.

It's been brought up previously but acronym webbing isn't proprietary. If you run into any issues or want increased functionality you can most likely find an affordable solution at an outdoor/milspec store.

cop ITW cams for that brand synergy

I suppose I don't really know the first thing about the process of operating a small inventory, high price retailer. Considering the prices vs something like the archetypal fashion houses, I would assume that margins on Acronym are far smaller. Which could have the potential to seriously harm the longevity of these boutiques if they get stuck with any dead inventory at all? I'm interested to see where this is going over the next few seasons, with the influence of the hype I expect Acronym to continue to raise the prices until they find their price equilibrium on the number of sales made (It's been ages since I took economics, if someone can help me on the name of this concept). After which point, one might assume that they would use the excess revenue to expand the brands production and bring prices back down? Is it even possible to create an economy of scale on a product that is intended to be on the cutting edge year after year?

production possibility frontier or something i think

can't believe they dropped firmament. maybe they will come with the second batch.

me neither but after a phone call with andre yesterday where he confirmed that they got dropped by them I can assure you.

they didn't even put an order for FW because they wasn't informed via subnet mail and the possible order was passed over - sad but true

That is so unbelievable, as a 'german' brand with a showroom and company headquarter in Germany, dropping the only local retailer is nearly treason. Sorry for being that dramatic, but I am really upset about this right now.

They also dropped Nitty Gritty for this years drop and the employers didn't even know why.

The Glade/ Firmament (which supported ACR from day one) switched location and ACR stayed but its literally a 1 min. walk.

maybe it has also something to do with the leaving of joerg (BGHD). he was the face behin the store and had all the contacts (or at least the most important ones)

btw: KITH also gone as a retailer? No mention on the website about the new season or Insta either

They are indeed a very small company with a very large rep, amazing really, you can see why Nike wanted Mr H on board and THAT name associated with their product but folk have to remember that there are two divisions, one being the design agency the other the clothing brand.

I blame Nike for the sudden silly levels of demented demand, kind of a symbiot that works in acrnms favour but not the consumer.

I agree. I take back what I said about a month ago saying they were small-to-medium. That was from the perspective of two of my favourite English brands where most of the work is done by 2 people, incidentally both husband and wife teams.

It's no wonder the levels things are at when every drop is on hypebeast.

Re: the retailers being dropped, I thought someone posted in this thread that they contacted END and they will be receiving FW at a later date and to keep an eye on social media for an official announcement.

Yep, that's what I was told on the chat... Hopefully that person wasn't mistaken!
