^ lol :) ah this thread is way more fun when people don't talk about economics, market conditions, how expensive tings are, etc.

This forum would be great if we didn't discuss anything. What a great observation.

I haven't posted in a while, but y'all are right about the inflation. Is it because of all of the attention brought on by the Nike collabs? (and maybe Instagram?)

I remember a few years back I sold my 3A-5TS on here for like sub $500 and now it's twice that. Right afterward, I was able to snag a bagjack NXL for ~$250 and I have to admit that aside from aesthetics, the NXL was SO much better (yes, I know they're both from bagjack) ... it came with all sorts of liners and pocket attachments and even a spare fidlock strap set, whereas the 3A5TS was just barebones.

I've always sold my acronym pieces over the years at less than retail because my logic is ... I've used it some already, why am I charging more than I got for it from the store? All I have now is my E-J2 (I think that's the model) which is basically an unknown model at this point since the main talking points of ACR are all the "hype"/"in" models.

I remember sellers like Jward always kept their prices super reasonable and fair, but now everywhere (especially Grailed), prices are just insane. Not complaining or anything, this is all just observing and I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse at this point. I will be in Tokyo for the upcoming ACR drop, wonder if I'll be able to snag anything ...

bump for E-J2

The NXL does look interesting but it's just not the best looking bag unfortunately.

ACR seems super expensive in Tokyo, at least everything I've seen

Can you guys try any harder in the product descriptions of your Grailed listings?

I actually like when people write wild stuff in their descriptions. It's like they were actually invested in the gear they bought, not just slinging mom and dad's cash around.

As someone that browses grailed a lot, I like seeing them do something fun and interesting in their descriptions.

Much better than "You know what this is, you know the hype around it, dont bitch about price, put some respek on my item"

He sure is invested in his product for trying to charge 1350 for one of the more bland acronym coats that's missing the jacket sling.

He's also not really that funny, but w/e.

and much like porn, it'll never happen irl

Used to happen every year...

however, I was in talks with bagjack about getting a few X-PAC accessories, they told me all they're "working" closely with acronym and only use X-PAC for their products.  Not sure what that means, if it's a licensing thing or actually production. Guess only time will tell.

Yep, there has really been a seismic shift in availability which I feel has in some way tarnished the secret societyness of it, as when you shared the brand it was because you found it by an act of seredipity and loved not because it was the cool thing to be seen in, now nike opened Pandora's box, the genie is out.

But like Pandora, I guess we have hope left...

One thing is for sure here, it'll be expensive compared to everywhere else. About 4 places still have a M J46 right now at 210,00-232,000¥ (double roughly US price).

same. for me, acrnm 2010-2012 was that weird berlin indie brand that re-did military classics in cool textiles and was fundamentally approachable. the new acrnm, while i still see the passion that's obviously in it, does nothing for me brandwise.

edit: earlier even. i mean, shit like this, man.
