They wont be sexy after you slip and fall on wet tilled floors.. happened to me, true story.

edit: just to clarify.. the soles of the shoes were wet not the floor

Can confirm. I slipped on a slick tiled sidewalk outside of a restaurant in the rain. SFB chukkas are gorgeous but definitely not wet weather shoes.

I'll be giving the pants a try and grab a t-shirt. The sweater possibly. Agreed with Jon on the shiny backpack, though it's otherwise neat. The outwear will give a whole bunch of people their first exposure to Errolson's vision and skill with tech-fabrics, probably at a price-point that's lower than ACR itself. That's a good thing, even if it is daily routine for most of us here.

I'll definitely be buying the pants, blacked out sweater and the blacked out jacket. Contemplating the chukkas or the lunarterros boots.

Backpack I could pass on, it's cool but reminds me of the old tortilla military backpack. I also have too many 3A bags and I've got the kickstarter modular backpack from Tessel coming to me in January.

Sidenote: the zippers on the back look deceptively similar to these on this Mystery ranch bag (which I can vouch for, is made exceptionally well):

The soles of the regular SFBs are also really bad on slippery surfaces.

Tao... Our local boutique should be receiving these right?

from here:

The NikeLab ACG collection is available beginning Dec. 18 at nike.com/nikelab in North America, Western Europe and Japan. It will also be available at the following retail locations: NikeLab 21 Mercer NYC, NikeLab DSM NYC, Niketown New York, NikeLab 1948 LDN, NikeLab DSM LDN, NikeLab P75 Paris, NikeLab LNZ1 Milan and NikeLab DSM Ginza in Tokyo.

i think nikelabs releases are exclusive from tier zero releases. a local boutique near me didn't get the recent CMFT AF1s, for example.

EDIT: also, on topic of branding, i like the pieces with tonal branding. according to nike, the silver-branded black jacket is a nikelabs online exclusive. so it appears that the jacket has two versions - 1 with loud silver logos & one with subtle black logos. ACG logo's gotta be there somewhere, it's classic.

I know not all Tier Zero accounts will be getting this one. I've already spoken to Haven and Firmament and sadly... no dice :( Sounds like if you want something from this ACG collection, your best bet will be www.slamjamsocialism.com for the Chukkas or to try your luck at Nikelab.

Yeah but that shiny fabric looks horrible.

Could just be the lighting in the photos.

Remember: X-PAC looks shiny in the photos. In real life it's just a slight iridescence.

Ok so if the ACG 2 in 1 jacket has insulation why can't standard ACR have some insulated options?

Come on Errolson bring them back!

Also it's up on the Nike shop btw and prices are excellent.

Archer must have the hook ups.  Been rocking the funnel pullover.  Pants might be the closest thing I get to ACR pants unless they start doing XS.

I've found the issue with the Lunar Flyknit Chukka is the actual foam sections offering no grip, not necessarily the rubber itself. Under compression the foam becomes part of the contact patch causing slipping issues. I think maybe it's a similar situation with the Chukka SFB?
