best way to wash the washed 501 xx

guys...juz dun reli understand how to keep the best condition of a jeans, especially when it comes to the washed one...i rock it all the time....juz in order to keep it fresh and fly...i afraid that the washing machine will wash off the orginial colour....so here's my qus....wat's the best way to keep the denim with the very least colour washed away...one of my man said it could be put in the salted water first...to perserve the colour being faded....but i hvn't tried it be4....and i dun wanna try that on my flava denim as the expiremental use....any advice from the denim masters here?
