Been a while, so here's my update on both my pairs (S5000VX and IHBB Raw).

Not as far along as most, but there's over a year left, and I'm happy that they reflect my lifestyle, and my wear.

Samurai - 5 - 6 months actual wear, 1 soak, 2 washes.

Also just want to say how personally pleased I am with everyone who is still competing hard, and showing us some really beautiful, worn, heavy denim. Thats what this competition is about, and you guys are not disappointing.

Just got a 4th wash, holding up really nicely there is a small hole forming in the crotch and the hems are starting to go but in otherwise good shape for almost a year of wear.
