The shirt is awesome. It's long enough to be worn tucked-in but the hem is square so it can also be worn untucked. The fabric is gorgeous. Measurement for the 17 (which I have cold soaked, cold washed, and spin dried to get all the shrinking out) are: shoulders: 19",P2P: 24", sleeves: 26", length: 28.25". I'll take some more pics if people are interested.

Both the longshoreman and the Bake Head pants are not selvedge, which is interesting because I thought they were the same denim has the 601XX jeans, which are...

EDIT: OK, I'm an idiot and they are indeed selvedge, see below...

The 1832008 Longshoreman is selvedge, it was 601xx 1943 denim. AFAIK the 1232001 Longshoreman is also 14oz selvedge but I’m not 100% if they were 601xx. The 2022004 Bakehead is 601xx denim and therefore selvedge.

What makes you think they’re not selvedge?

Mines are #1232001 and #2022004. After taking a longer look at the way the pants are sown, I realize that the selvedge would not be visible either way...

Just got one of those and one thing that struck me is how nice the MOP buttons are. probably the nicest ons I've seen on anything, including some custom shirts. (Same buttons are used on the wabash Ironall.)

Diamond Cracker arrived, crazy how fast FedEx shipping is.
Like I've said before, I feel like Freewheelers 17 1/2 shirts fit me better than any other Japanese brand bar none.
So I'll continue to hunt them down and sell nearly everything else I own. Fit pic is with a Freewheelers tee underneath.
