M-1941 Field Jacket

m-1941 (2).jpg

This is a nice jacket. Curious to know whether it has an internal pocket?

EDIT: Nevermind, found it on the FW blog.

Did Desolation Row always have a webshop? Or is it new? E.g.,

https://desolation-row.stores.jp/items/5e9ff406cee9ea20b43b3971

No the web shop is a new thing - previously you just just e-mailed an enquiry to them. DR has always been a place of strange stock levels so perhaps they will start to remedy that with this new venture, but I think it might have a detrimental impact on retailers

I'm interested to see how much inventory they end up putting online.
Correct me if I'm wrong but right now it seems like they've only listed some DR exclusive stuff.

Yep, that’s what’s up ... so far

A bit of a test run is how it seems to be

FREEWHEELERS / HORIZONTAL STRIPED T-SHIRT with POCKET (# 1825018, REPTILE GREEN × CHARCOAL BLACK)

Last of this FW shipment - black & green pocket tee. My old iPhone is struggling here. The green is quite pure; there’s no blue in it.

Something to think about for sure - I’m not experienced enough to know how much work would need to go into it. Is it something you could advise?

I am a newbie at coding, basic CSS and HTML work. But I guess it doesn't have to be so intense.

On the other hand, there are plenty of website builders that are simple to operate and wouldn't involve you having to change the code every time you want to upload a new photo. If you seriously want more info, I can go ahead and speak to my girlfriend. She works with print, but has a firm understanding of web design through her degree. No pressure though as I just thought it would be a good idea to exercise a little collection management.

I’d be interested to find out more for sure - a few pointers.

I guess my fear would be the tech overtakes the clothing but it’s a great suggestion ... thank you

Freewheelers 601xx 1951, the fabric has a lot of character. Got it from a shop called Klamp on Rakuten. Really helpful staff and for my first time using the website it was super easy. Didn’t take that long for it to arrive either.

@Duke Mantee I love Warlock and Kesey, especially Kesey. Looking at all your work shirt pictures reminds me of the issue of pocket placement with other brands. Some brands place the pockets way too high on the chest. I maybe alone in this but it looks awkward aesthetically.
