Still feelin' shitty from the cold, but hey, nevertheless we took a walk in a beautiful Rokoko-garden near our small village, called Schloss Wilhelmsthal. The castle was build in 1712 and it's one of germanys most beautiful castles:

Meanwhile it's real autumn in germany:

dsci0422.jpg

Time for good boots!

dsci0424p.jpg

Not in a really good mood today...

Yeah, female stimuli masked in pseudo-religious art :P

I really like this pic...

dsci0411.jpg

...and the view.

dsci0386r.jpg

Moar rokoko...

dsci0391.jpg

...and a bit moar Engineers. The fit of the jean postsoak is real close to my LVC 55's, Pike Brothers did a good job creating their own version of a fifties jean. The Engineer's are still bleeding much and they're a lot more comfy now. Nice.

Awright, Engineer Crew (if there's someone left), let's do some cooking. Today I was in the mood for something italian (Ale, do you follow the tour?), so let's go for greaaaaat

Canelloni Bolognese

For 2 persons you need:

Olive Oil

3 or 4 Garlic gloves

1 Onion

1/2 pound minced pork

Peeled Tomatoes (one tin)

1 Carot

Cream

Precooked Canelloni

Use good products!

dsci0429.jpg

Here are the basics. Note:

Extra virgin olive oil contains low doses of a natural non-selective cyclooxygenase inhibitor, called oleocanthal, which has a comparable to ibuprofen anti-inflammatory effect.

dsci0430.jpg

Cut the garlic into thin pieces and the onion in lil' cubes. While you're working on that, heat up a good amout (I guess 5 or 6 soup spoons, I do it always by feeling) of the olive oil in a pot for the sauce.

dsci0431m.jpg

Drop the garlic in the hot oil. It is pretty important to deep-fry the garlic, but be careful: it's perfect when it gets an amber-like colour, anything more turns the garlic into waste... Always stir up.

Note:

It could be assumed that the garlic ingredients reduce blood fat levels and therefore act preventively against atherosclerotic changes in blood vessels.

dsci0432z.jpg

Now we put the meat and the onion in the pot. Stir it all good up til the meat gets chunky. Give a lot of heat for at least 4-5 minutes.

dsci0433r.jpg

Now we've got time to peel the carot into lil' stripes.

Note: the carotene content on carots (mainly α-and β-carotene) is the highest among all kinds of vegetables.

dsci0434.jpg

Put the carot stripes in the pot and let the whole thing cook for another few minutes.

dsci0435.jpg

Oro di parma, the best peeled tomatoes I know- btw. do you guys know that peeled tomatoes got a lot more vitamines than fresh tomatoes? Stir them in...

dsci0436e.jpg

Give a bit cream to the sauce and spice it up with a bit of oregano, basilikum, salt, pepper and, yeah!, sugar (that gives the kick on the tomatoes!).

Let it cook at small heat for 3 Minutes.

dsci0437f.jpg

Put a bit of the sauce on the bottom of a casserole. Now fill the canelloni with the sauce (works best with a little spoon)...

Today was a very special day- the 1st birthday of my beloved daughter. One year has gone so fast, unbelieveable. But hey, time to:

dsci0454v.jpg

My wife loves all the winnieh the pooh shit and decoration is her part.

dsci0429a.jpg

Nele really likes her new rockin' horse...

dsci0435.jpg

...and the special, missus-made baby muffins (sugarfree but tasty).

dsci0446.jpg

She also likes to rock her Nudies.

dsci0452.jpg

Nice!

No public viewing of our guests, sorry.

After a few hours with coffee, cakes and guests the work began for me:

dsci0469e.jpg

Poor attempt of a self-timer pic...

dsci0471.jpg

...one of my ass, photographed by the missus again

dsci0473a.jpg

and one of myself getting totally f.cked off from the housework (censored).

But the fit of the Pikes is real nice postsoak imo.

So goodnight to you all, I hope the next update is about the leather goods and a bit more denim related.

Got sewing skills?

dsci0084a.jpg

dsci0085o.jpg

See what the problem is?

dsci0088y.jpg

Macro of the right back pocket...

All right. Where do you guys want the leather patch? The extra belt loops are a bit of a problem if we put it on the left side, let me know! And do we mark our locations on the patch? Which way?
