Opie 37,449 Posted November 18, 2008 Wow, those pictures might just have convinced me to look at some red-d's as my next pair. They don't seem tight at all! Did you size down or did you go true to size?
vamks 79,454 Posted November 18, 2008 Definitely sized down. These are a size 29 and I'll usually comfortably wear 30 or maybe even 31? They stretched out quite a bit in my honest opinion. I may have heard differently from others, but thats just my experience. For those of you who want detailed pics of anything, let me know and I'll be happy to post them. One thing to note, as I've heard someone else say the same, the stitching will go before the jeans even begin to fade favorably. My leather patch was already 1/4th off after 3-4 months.

vamks 79,454 Posted December 21, 2008 X-post from Evolution thread Some people asked for detail pics of my Dry Bones Red-D (6.5 months) These were posted almost exactly a month ago: Here are pics of them hanging on my fence: Left Knee: Right Honeycomb: Butt Fades and Details: These were all taken with a Canon 40D under the shadows of a giant oak tree in my yard. If anyone wants to see more just tell me what and I'll take the pic.

JoyDiffusion 6,224 Posted February 17, 2009 Damn, I'm honored. I'm actually coming in at the end of March to look for a new pair. LOL. Nice work on those Vamks... they look great. Have you thought of trying your hand at the new SExDB jeans coming out soon? Edit: I just noticed you ride your bike to class... No fabric weakness/fraying in the crotch region? DB sure seems to be some very well-made denim.

I'm due anyway, so yeah, I think I'll be in on the competition.
vamks 79,454 Posted February 17, 2009 Speaking of a new pair, I washed these yesterday and man am I happy. Not only is the grime gone, I feel like the denim is a bit slubbier/stiffer and didn't lose too much indigo. It may be completely psychological, but I do feel like my denim is stronger from a wash since all the crap is gone. Of course, this post is worthless without pics, I'll get them soon, promise.
