the 3009 are a real nice fit (could just bee the angle of dave28's pic) kind of like a higher rise s5000vx

You can't judge how a pair of jeans will look on you by someone else's fit unless you know their size, shape, height, etc and then compare it to yourself.

Your right, I am short and stocky 5.7, 175 lbs so my fit pic will certainly not apply for a person who is tall and slender body type.

I would also recommend shortening them a little further ... cuffing would only make your legs appear shorter.
