the second one has better lighting, though her hair gets cut off. narrow lighting is more flattering for women. make sure there's a defined shadow on one side of her face. make sure the eyes are nicely lit.

some spot removal/retouching obviously.

will the images just be small headers like 1-2" at the top of the article? i'm thinking a solid background would probably be better. white is good because it'll blend with the color of the pages [if they're white] and the only solid visible edge of the photo rests on top of the text that follows.

Couldn't rep Rob, but thanks..I don't have access to a studio and I have to work around the writer's schedule. The images last time went in a purple vertical bar and they were placed on top of the bar if that makes sense. I'm not sure what they'll do this time. However, my max white is set at 243 so everything even the white will print. I did alot of spot healing, but I didn't know if I should keep going I didn't want to get her feelings by making her look like someone she almost isnt you know?

jesus christ dude that HDR shit is too much. you look like a corpse in that last picture.

Well, feedback is feedback. Maybe I overdid it on the 2nd but personally I can't see how I look like a corpse...?
