true color on this one, rest are photoshopped because they were too light

since it's summer, my guess is condensation from a sudden temperature change.

Actually not a fisheye, 12-24mm wide angle zoom. Its got some barrel distortion which causes it too look like a fisheye slightly at 12mm. I love it for shots like that and portraits. Also architecture looks great with it.

That shot is amazing. The pink river is awesome and the rain in the sky makes it seem as if its falling. Well done.

pros/cons of slide film? any certain attributes that come with it?

pros: color saturation, crispness for enlargements, overall amazing color

cons: not much exposure leeway.....price? i think slide film's worth it regardless, although i use print for all my toy cameras

yeah, slide film is great.. i like crossprocessing for the random shift in the color range as well as the prints.

I'd put it on my 28-80mm, I just want some more barrel distortion but want to keep it full-frame (i dont like the circles given by the peephole trick)

try the lomo 60 dollar fisheye attachment you can put on the wide end (18mm) of a kit lens. Those opteka lenses really suck and you're better off not spending the extra hundred.

edit: oops, you want full-frame ... meh.

Kodachrome....

Its the only archival color process. And its not oversaturated like some of the E-6 transparency films.

I've been stuck in a compositional rut lately. Went to santa monica last weekend for some forced practice pics... hopefully I can do some more/better @ melrose this coming weekend.
