Thanks for the heads up. I should've done more research before committing into film :mellow:

Just stick with negative vs slide film--slide film is beautiful but expensive and getting exposure right is more difficult.

 

Portra 400 is my go-to negative film.  Fuji pro is nice as well. TBH you can get good results from drugstore Kodak film, and it's a good/cheaper way to start.

I just bought a Leica M6! Really great condition and a fair price! I'll have it mid next week! Super stoked!

 

Congrats man! I did the same thing but mine is in a really shit condition :P

 

other photo threads are kinda dead so posting here, but what camera straps/slings are you guys using on your DSLR? looking for recommendations. 

I'm using a D800 Nikon strap on my cams, its the most comfortable strap I've used. Takes almost no room in the bag and cheap as chips. Most of the popular straps these days seems more like a fashion statement.
