hot soak, hang dry, and hot soak again to get all the shrinkage out of the way..

Sz 31... I think I gained weight since I ordered them, so rather than being TTS, they are now sized down 1... everything fits good except for waist being a bit tight.. they have already stretched out an inch with a day of wear in the house...

Inseam is hemmed to a 33.5, it has shrunk down to a 31 inseam..

a wash will get the most shrinkage. if your'e not down for a wash, just do another hot water but keep it hot. maybe a tub of hot water and put boiling water every now and then.

^^ boiling water not needed, might also ruin the patch like with some of the sufu x db jawns. hot soak + hot tumble in the dryer if you're really srs about it

nah no dryer. it makes your jeans soft and pansy like. dino can attest to that. i wouldn't do boiling water myself, usually just an initial wash. ideally the patch would be able to survive the boiling water.

you don't really need a washer and a dryer if you use hot enough water and if you hang in direct sunlight..

it's the wash + dry cycle that shrinks denim..

I went ahead and took the plunge. Threw my pair in the wash (hot with no spin cycle) AND dryer. It made a huge difference in shrinkage and now fits me better.

My dryer didnt make them too soft either. It was still a bit damp when I took em out.

BLUE! haha..its cool though. I ran another wash of dirty rags afterwards then threw those in the dryer just so my other clothes don't turn blue.

well i was a lil worried about a 28 but turned out fine! i think the mid/high rise helped

they are proberly 80% dry but couldn't wait to get them on.

It's been a while since i got blue hands

thanks i thought 28 would be crazy small but in fact if you see the chart its only 1 inch different on the waist and o.25 on the thigh compared to the 29, i will think about a hem later, gonna let the denim fall, btw thanks for the rep's guys

i emailed gordon with a change to my hemming request. he emailed back tuesday evening & they still had not received the jeans at that time.

may you all enjoy the bliss that is the denim pocket bag...but imho it would've been more prone to fading if the did them warp side in like warehouse did with the 700s, since the inside of the pocket is where the action is...

If that is sized down 2, then I'm doubtful that they're close to fully shrunk. Sizing down 2 on Eternals would be painful. I think sidneylo sized down 2, and my balls hurt just looking at the pictures:
