lance 127,433 Posted September 20 (edited) Received the Studio D’Artisan indigo dyed flannel shirt from Okayama Denim weeks ago but just now able to post photos again; 2 days free shipping Japan to Florida, amazing! The shirt is all we’ve come to expect from SDA. Perfect weight flannel fabric, vivid colors, lots of deep indigo, precise workmanship, nice buttons, chainstitch runoff, generous cut as befits a flannel shirt. Around 2.5 years of wear. It is the SDA D4385, so 15oz blue ID selvedge. I think 5 washes. Near daily wear, except really hot summer days.
Broark 8,538 Posted October 5 Anyone have info on the XS-27s? Found a deadstock pair on Yahoo Auctions, price is too high but just interested in what the story is on them.

Maynard Friedman 565,201 Posted October 6 @Broark, they’re the annual Christmas specials from 2006 I think. Here’s a second-hand pair for sale on eBay, size 36.
Broark 8,538 Posted October 6 Thanks Maynard, I was just wondering if anyone knew any more details about them. I wish SDA still did the Christmas editions.
irual 90 Posted October 26 Here is a fit pic of my SDA D1712 which I bought from @beautiful_FrEaK back in 2017. These have not seen much wear as I have been going back and forth if I like the fit or not. They taper a bit too much bit too soon and make the lower thigh feel constricting. Anyway, they have now been back in rotation now and feel like a fresh change after some more spacious cuts.
beautiful_FrEaK 1,664,772 Posted October 26 They look great Lauri! Definitely better on you than on me
irual 90 Posted October 26 Thank you Tilmann, although they are a bit tight they are still comfortable, maybe due to weft being made of Zimbabwean cotton..
