I'd be interested in joining if there's a spot left. I'm located in the pacific northwest (Canada), if it hasn't already been represented.

Burgus denim is great quality for the price, been keen to try it out for awhile. It's too bad that it takes a back seat to the big names.

My true waist is 32", but I figure they should be stretched out after a couple of legs into the tour.

Well, I'm mostly west in Alberta, but I have friends on the Coast, and assuming I get these mid December/early Jan, I'll be skiing anyway, so might be able to hook up some kind of coastal trip/possible hand off.

Its really just time/location dependent so, there may be a chance for meet up. I mean, if you get a spot.

can't wait..

care to put the location of each person beside their names and update the first post?

and I would love to do a handoff...

where is the next person from me located? I don't mind flying south/north/east/west provided it's in north america

ENTER THE WHOPPER OF WORLD TOURS BurgusPlus.jpg

Just in time for my DC trip, today arrived the jeans of gastronomic proportions! A jean so epic, it must be sent through Royal Mail...The King of Jeans, the King of Tours! (please play along with my pictures as I was in a rush all day and will be throughout the weekend due to this wedding/trip but it should make for some interesting touristy photos)

IMG_36482.jpg[/img]

The jeans themselves have the slightest bit of fades going already...Whiskers burnt on fresh from the grill, and a scent along with it...

IMG_3656.jpg

...And a fit of Burgus goodness!

IMG_3673.jpg

These ain't Sugarcanes baby...

IMG_3682.jpg

...These is BURGUS PLUS! (Actually had a burger night tonight which was all coincidental)

IMG_3688.jpg

Alright, hope you enjoyed the first entry...It's all I could manage (need to wake up in 4 hours for a meeting and then gotta quickly finish prep for tomorrow's flight) but it will be a fun month so keep posted!

Burgus King out!

Fuck....worst case scenario...I was transferring all the pictures from my trip to my computer, left the room and assumed they were all transferred so I deleted them from my camera. I come back to upload pictures after eating dinner and guess what...I lost ALL the pictures...Everything from my trip, my cousin's wedding, shopping excursions, food porn, Georgetown, Alexandria, National monuments/Mall and Smithsonian pictures, the White House, etc. etc. all gone...

I'll try to come up with something as two whole pictures and 2 whole videos survived the massacre but it looks like I'll have to skip the whole past 4 days and start updating from dinnertime tonight...

Sorry for all the trouble everyone, although I'm probably the most taken back by all this...lol

Alright, still pretty depressed about losing all the pictures but I'll try to salvage the whole trip from what pictures survived and the pictures from my girlfriend's camera (which isn't much admittedly)...

So we left on Friday all in a rush...had a few chores to run and an early morning meeting at work but got home just in time to pack the few essentials...

IMG_3692.jpg

When we got to the airport, everything went smoothly...that is until we checked on our flight status and saw in big bold letters "CANCELLED"...In a daze we went up to the customer info kiosk and they switched us to a flight that was delayed itself, but nonetheless 20 minutes earlier than our scheduled flight.

All on board!

IMG_3695.jpg

But, in the end, it turns out that the very flight we were sitting on...was CANCELLED as well so after waiting two hours on the plane on the runway, we were informed that the FTA was calling back all east-bound flights due to an electric storm. At this point we were at a loss for words...with no flights until the next day we had no choice but to make camp at the airport. I had tons of pictures and videos documenting this, including one of the more surreal moments of the trip, 300+ people all laying in cots on the airport terminal floor. We were all given care packages with toothpaste, combs, etc. as well so it wasn't all that bad...

We ended up taking a 6:30AM flight which is just as well since the airport security kicked everyone off their cots around 4:00am. When we got into Reagan Intl. (DCA), we took a shuttle to the hotel of the wedding (Westfields Marriot in Chantilly VA), slept a few hours and went to the wedding and reception. Had a few pics as well from that with my suit and the trusty Alden's but I digress...

The next day was a tour galore event with pictures taken up the yin yang...Shopping at Pentagon City, Pentagon Row (hello to those at Denimbar, I took a few pictures of the Sugarcane's I tried on but those seemed to have gotten deleted as well lol), and then on to more touristy things like the National mall, Whitehouse, Air and Space museum, Washington and Lincoln Memorial, and a crappy restaurant called TenPehn.

Sunday was my birthday and we had brunch at my relatives for the wedding...it was a FEAST! A mix of Jewish and Filipino foods, there was an apple stuffed pig on the table, pancit, Jewish meats and cheeses, desserts, etc.etc. one of the more filling meals of the trip indeed. Afterwards we shipped on out to downtown DC once more and took in a few more sights (National Archives, Art museum, gardens, etc.) before heading out to Georgetown where I dropped by the Ralph Lauren store to find out the RRL store of years back had been closed...Here is a pic of my pair, Slim Bootcuts (AMAZING fit, which I also took a picture of when trying on, but alas...) in my "To Wear in the near future" drawer at home...

IMG_1768.jpg

We also dropped by the Maine Avenue Seafood Market and picked up some fried ass fish, shrimps, fries and strawberry lemonade...Very delicious in a oily, non-Burger way. Somehow, a

And finally on to today, which was a good time....For brunch we went to a place in Alexandria (which is where we stayed...have a few relatives all over the area) called Brabo's where we enjoyed relatively good beers and wine over some awesome Mussel's, flatbread type pizza deals, five onion soup, salad, etc. The pictures I took were pretty inspirational but here's a video that also miraculously survived my deletion onslaught:

After brunch we toured a bit around Old Town, including Captain's Row, and the Torpedo factory (ahoy matey!):

IMG_1708s.jpg

Since there are no other pictures I'll skip ahead to the airport where I was publicly violated...Something about a Burger between my thighs or something...errr

IMG_1718.jpg

With belt and shoes back on we took a seat waiting for our flight.

IMG_1721.jpg

IMG_1749.jpg

It was a small plane, American Eagle, basically two seats-aisle and then two seats, and I sat by the window:

The Chicago coastline...any more south and you'd see my apartment building

IMG_1757.jpg

IMG_1758.jpg

After a rough landing (break heavy pilot I guess), we were back at O'Hare (ORD)

Home sweet home!
