Took these a while back but never got around to posting them since there was no Tanner thread.

Standard belt and bifold wallet. About 18 months of use.

Hello there!

May i ask what model/color is this belt?

And if my true waist is around 30, what size is recommended for me? :)

Just got my wallet today. I'm loving how it looks so far! I don't plan on tanning it or oiling it. That should be fine right? I'm a leather noob.

The bridle-style leather has already been oiled at the tannery to a degree, there is no need to oil it unless you want to darken the leather, or accentuate the grain, or soften the wallet, etc...

Lovely wallet and lovely handwriting too.

But I seem to be repping you too much :P

^ If it is starting to crack, I would apply a deeply penetrating oil (I like to use pure oils, not compounds; for example, horse oil, neatsfoot, etc) and seal the surface with a wax compound (Obenauf's, pure beeswax, Montana pitch blend, etc).

That's just me personally - I do not like any significant grain damage until a few years down the track.

Mike, think it's been close to 5 weeks since I returned a 28 natural belt in exchange for a 32 one. Just checking in for an update if possible.

Returned under the name Derek Chang

Oh, and the bifold is holding up nicely!

HI Derek,

I believe they are still processing it. Your exchange should be going out very soon.

I did receive your email. Did you receive your item?

Heritage belt looks nice!

Is it American 'English' bridle or English bridle from England?

American 'English' bridle. Everything is sourced domestically in North America

woah, do the new (stitched) cardholders also have thicker leather? Looks like it...

nice.

The first iteration of the cardholders were made of single pieces of leather, whereas the newer stitched ones have two pieces of leather sewn together - so it definitely has a thicker hand to it.
