Dunno much about the newer 710XX 19oz denim they’re using,  but basing it from experience on the Lot 9 19oz that I have, the denim had residual shrinkage even after a few washes.

Some are after the [spot on] fit ... but,  if u wish to keep them years longer,  u have to size up to adjust for future shrinkage ... just my personal opinion.

I have 3 x 710 pairs on different denim & weight, ie, 19oz VX, 17oz Zero, & 18oz organic ... with different shrink-to-stretch ratio, of course.  I also have the IH 634S-B/OD.

Personally,  I think they are 2 different fit & feel.  Depending on how u want to size the 710s, they can be worn,  either on the slim or relax tapered side.  Which 710 denim are u looking at?

i see. i’ve been eyeing the s710xx 19oz kiwami from blue owl. size 30 shows an actual waist of 29 which is my true waist size.

When you say on the lighter side, do you mean lighter weight denim? 

i have an overdyed pair of 634 in a 29 and the top block measurements seem very comparable to a 30 in 710. just not sure how much a one-wash 710 might shrink. by lighter i meant a less aggressive taper. some taper is okay but i don’t want much smaller than 7.5” leg opening at 30” inseam.

hi all. can anyone tell me if the 710 compares pretty close to the iron heart 634? i am looking for something with a taper on the lighter side. i typically hem my jeans down to between 29”-30” so i know that’ll get rid of a tiny bit of taper as well.

i wear an 8.5D in red wing moc toes. i went with an 8D in the m-43s and i’d say the fit is about as good i can get. i have a relatively narrow foot (b width in cowboy boots) and this is a fairly wide boot. i benefit from a heavier sock, but overall they fit fine for me.

whoops! i was actually just ranting and raving about my new papa nui cap lol. ship john caps are awesome too. they sell out too quick unfortunately. i’m gonna try and secure a wills pre-order this month.

just over a month owning my new favorite shit kickers. john lofgren m-43!! i’ve never owned anything cxl before and i’ve gotta say these have blown my red wings and wescos out of the water. i think the break in took less than 10 days of wear.

sizing advice re: ranchman shirt. this is my partner’s ranchman in a size 34. it’s obviously choking my shoulders and armpits. should i skip 36 and go straight to 38? for reference i have a mister freedom appaloosa in a small that fits fairly well, just too long in the body and a tad too tight in the chest. any help is appreciated!

Does anyone know if smaller jeans sizes (under 32) will have a 4-button fly instead of 5-button fly? i always dig that detail but i know my size 29 50s have a 5-button fly.

gave my oa01‘s their second wash today in just as many months wearing. i’m pleasantly surprised by the texture starting to come out. the butt fade is coming strong given that i’ve only been inside most of the time!
