For the 800XX sizing up is recommended, but how much, if you normally wear a 34, just to 36 or even 38?

I'm asking because the measurements are very small for the waist:
second sunrise for the one wash: 36-42cm 38-44cm
    selfedge for the rinsed one: 36- 81.25cm.  38- 82.5cm
    hinoya also o/w: 36- 84cm 38-88cm

Most of my jeans measure 90cm (flat measured x2)- so the 36 would probably stretch to that , the 38 would be more comfortable.
    It just seems a lot.

    I had to go from a 34 in the 800 to a 36 in the 800xx .

Here are Pictures of the two and the size 34 is bigger even though it's been washed, and all the shrinkage should be out by now.

Based on the inseam there is still some good shrinkage left in the fabric.

Thanks for that info, I'm going to give it a shot with a machine wash and dry. It's somewhat baggy in the top block but I'll try to take measurements afterwards to see how much shrinkage I was able to get.

  10. @julian-wolf I have bF's old pair and the measurements are still about the same, although the waist is probably at about 34" now. Depending on the fit you're looking for, I'd go with your usual sizing just because it seems like they end up stretching to tag size after a few wears. Starting to realize that I'd be more of a 36 in the 301 now as compared to a 34

  11. They also have a pre order for Denime 66 on there, but with no size chart yet. Couldn't find anything else about the pairs either, even on the warehouse blog.

  12. Cleaning out my closet and deciding that there are a lot of things that need to go. Most of the stuff is either new or only worn once. The price includes shipping to the CONUS, however if overseas, shipping will be extra depending on the country.

Here is a link to the imgur album with pictures, measurements, and prices: For Sale

Apologies for the terrible lighting, I can retake any pictures or measurements if needed.

  13. @cause4pause Had both the 8002 and the 3002 in a size 36 and for the most part, all the measurements were similar. The 8002 being heavier denim did shrink a tad more for me, but the fabric is still similar to the 14oz and stretched to what it was prior. I don't have either anymore so I can't really give you much update on how they are after a few years.

  14. @Duke Mantee Yeah, I should have listen to Broark on that recommendation. When I checked the waist measurements for the 601rb in 34, they seemed pretty small at 85cm as compared to my 601 1951's but mirror balls measurements seem to run smaller than other places. I think I'll opt for that 34 and test that out, luckily the yen is a little low right now so not too big of a mistake.

@bartlebyyphonics In a lot of our family pictures, I realize that my Grandpa had diaper butts in all of them, but he was an old school cattle rancher! One of these days I'll muster the courage...

  15. I know this has been asked before, but does the diaper butt on FW ever settle? I just recieved the 601RB pair in 36 from Mirror Ball and I'm seeing it quite a bit on a side view. I have a bigger butt/legs than most so I'm sure there's no issue there .The fit of the jean is good everywhere else, with it being only a tad bit large on the waist. I have 601 1951 pair in a 34 that has more of a hip flare with no butt wedgie, but unfortunately it seems like the 34 in the 601rb would be too small. Debating if i should wear this a bit and wash often to see if the denim settles on that area or if I shold just cut my losses and sell them off.

  16. Looking to sell some items, pictures can be seen Here. All prices include shipping to CONUS. Paypal F&F only. Some prices were dropped while some items were added.

NAQP x Harley of Scotland in XL $145
    P2P: 24", Length: 27", Shoulder: 19", Sleeve Length: 26.5"
Worn only once and was hand washed/air dried once. Too long in the sleeves for me.

    Knickerbocker Reversible Jacket (Nylon/Pile) in L $105
    P2P: 23', Length: 28.75" , Shoulder: 19", Sleeve Length: 25.5"
Bought a couple of years ago but has only seen a handful of wears.

Engineered Garments Black Ripstop fatigue pant in L $150
    Waist: 18.5", Inseam: 29.5", Leg Opening: 8.5", Front Rise: 13.5", Thigh: 13.75"
Bought last year but much too big on me, only worn about 5 times. Has an adjustable drawstring on the waist.

    Samurai 500AX in 34 $250
    Waist: 17.25", Inseam: 31", Leg Opening: 8.5", Front Rise: 10.75", Thigh: 12.5"
Bought from OD over a year ago but was only worn a couple of times. This denim is made of 18oz denim that has a small amount of Samurai's Cotton mixed in. The denim itself seems to be fast fading as there are some very faint "fade" streaks close to the crotch area. The fit is a middle straight, similar to the 5000VX. Retailed at $345.

    Dry Bones 582-W in 32 $175
    Waist: 17.25", Inseam: 33", Leg Opening: 8.5", Front Rise: 11", Thigh: 12.5"
Bought from bF, but these are unfortunately too tight for comfort for me right now. Great denim with neat details from a brand that isn't seen often around here. Denim was only worn once by me with visible signs of fading.

Dawson Denim Black Regular fit in 33 $150
    Waist: 17.25", Inseam: 30", Leg Opening: 9", Front Rise: 12", Thigh: 13"
Great pair of jeans that I would have loved to have in a size 34. Were only worn twice by me before being put in storage.

    Denime Shin's Era 1989-047 in 36 $250
    Waist: 18.5", Inseam: 32", Leg Opening: 8.5", Front Rise: 11.5", Thigh: 13"
Really don't want to sell these, but they are just too big on me. Bought from Broark but were never worn by me.

    Freewheeler's 601RB (Rude Black) in 36 $215
    Waist: 18.25”, Inseam: 33”, Leg opening: 9”, Thigh: 13.75
Bought the incorrect size from Mirrorball, so these are unworn with tags still on.

Interest Check: Paraboot Michael in Lisse Noir (black) in EU42/9-9.5 $300
Worn only once, would prefer the same shoe in Brown, so looking to sell.
