Congrats!

Those chambray jeans are cool. I'd definitely buy a pair if I could find in my size.

@CSL looks great! enough pockets for every piano note
I've had my eye on the Jefferson coat because of all the pockets, dunno if I could pull it off though. My type 1's single pocket is normally empty anyway . I usually go for a solid color underneath but got inspo for this. Does It work or do I need to match the patterns closer?
I think it's a close enough match for what you're going for LazyS. Looks cool to my eye.
Are FW remaking that Jefferson? I thought it was long deleted.
Thanks re the Sasquatch!

They missed a spot on the upper right...
Hopefully I didn't get a 'factory 2nd'.

I had a Mido once. The self winding function was pretty cool.

^ very nice @CSL ; what was the washing protocol? they look pretty raw still w.hyper blue white in fades, deep dusty blue down at hems? back pocket stitches still look fab, even with the advised change from rocking 88...
Thanks bartlebyyphonics! Not many washes. Three or four.
There were a few weeks when it was too hot for jeans so they weren't worn continuously. As much as possible though.
I expected the pocket stitching to wear off quickly. I'm surprised it's held on this long.
Regarding the dusty blue at the hems, you're quite right. It's a dust bowl here much of the year & any walking in the field kicks it up. It sticks like hell & gentle washing doesn't get it out.
I'm actually looking forward to giving them a thorough wash maybe with oxyclean & a scrubbing brush.

Pics taken on March 2nd, some outdoors, some indoors. I've never worn one pair of jeans this consistently before this. It's been interesting, stuff like keeping up on repairs to keep them wearable.
I've certainly enjoyed interacting with you all & following the progress. Thanks in particular to those folks who urged me to jump in. It's been grand!

Thanks!

So do we post the final submission here? Someone mentioned there might be a fresh thread dedicated to that purpose.

The chambray fabric they use for their shirts seems to have a bit of give to it so, as long as you're not sizing way too small, you should be ok with a fairly close fit.

Daft looking but not a bad idea...

I've been underwhelmed by them for years.

May I ask, Jared_Lee, who did the pin up girl on your ribs?

I suppose, to be fair to the US seller, they have shipping & import duties to factor in. I'm surprised Samurai is also selling it for $500+.

Yes. It's cool but that figure seems high for an unlined canvas jacket.

Thanks, Jared_Lee! Quite a compliment.

@CSL pretty much. Someone will probably start a final submissions thread, and you can add final and progress pics and any thoughts. There will be some time limit, say two weeks, to submit photos before judging. Several of the Japanese contestants are on IG only, so I guess they will be submitting photos here.
Thanks for clarifying, andrewrose.

Since I've never been involved with a contest like this before I'm curious as to what happens at the finish.
Do we all submit photos on March 1st?

Great fit Carl! I wasn’t keen on the colourway when I first saw it … happy to admit I was wrong
Thanks, Duke! Glad I went with the bigger option.
