There's a favorable review of the Avoriaz after one year's wear.

I’m assuming when you buy a few items you’d be doing so as individual purchases and make a day of it?
Yes. Exactly.

@CSL depending on what size you are, Brogue (US based Freewheelers stockist) still has a 16.
I’ve ordered a few FW pieces from them. Fast shipping; I can recommend.
Thanks, tooth. Unfortunately I procrastinated while Brogue had my size in stock. I did the 'I really don't need another shirt' psychology on myself. I'll keep an eye on yahoo auctions Japan.
I've been to Brogue btw. Very nice shop. You get a shot of single malt scotch with your clothing purchase.

Regretful I didn't get one...

Years ago I had repairs done at Denim Revival in LA. Looks like they're still open.
The woman was also making jeans from scratch. Might be worth a try.

@CSL those the denim chinos?
@shredwin_206 They are. I haven't worn them much.

I have a couple of (slightly) different pairs of RMC WWII chinos. They are good. Can look formal with crease ironed in. I also still wear my FW Prospector overalls which are very light weight.

I have a couple of pairs of pre LVC bucklebacks circa 2000

I've really liked those, enough that I've bought two pairs.

Have you posted pics of your Lee stuff here before Carl?
Dr_Heech, No I haven't. I did on DB back in the day.

It all looks great. I particularly like the model with the orange stitching.
I still have some of those & other Lees from when Cultizm sold them.

Yeah. Me too. It's a ways more 'over the shoulder' than the later models. Not sure how I feel about that.
I'll be curious to see it on Broark.

Would a loose fit, mild fade type pair stand any chance of winning?

Ooms disintegrating shorts.. Unders disintegrating jeans.. Ben's collapsing engineer boots.. and so on
Thanks for elaborating, Double O. I hope it didn't sound like I was having a dig at you. Your RMC jeans experience just happens to be the first thing that comes to mind when that subject comes up.

Now that's a true outrage!

Thankfully, no. I’ve read enough bad reviews of McCoy’s quality control that I wouldn’t waste a dime on their stuff
I guess we all heard about Double O's disintegrating jeans. Then again I have a ton of McCoys stuff that I've never had an issue with. I'm curious to know what other negative stuff you've heard.

Are you finding it easy to move them along? I put a bunch on Grailed. Most are sitting...
