  1. S0553XX I bought in 2015 or so. Never really was a type 3 guy but started wearing it recently and I've gotta say it's very flattering

Not to sure I'll actually get around to wearing this thing much, but thought I'd share and bump this thread

  2. I threw on the 1943s while the 1901s were drying and was reminded of how special they are. Going to cycle between the both going forward

Also feels a little more right when the only jacket I really wear is a S506XX..

On top of sewing on belt loops I removed the suspender buttons. Sorry

*Personally* loving the alterations. I've always loved seeing vintage denim that had been altered, although I can't specifically recall seeing a pair of Levis of this time with belt loops added I can only imagine there are many in existence and refuse to believe otherwise... @Dr_Heech could maybe confirm or refute this. Maybe in the late teens?

What's the consensus on the most unique denim to TSG regarding their "core" denim? I'm heading to Japan later this year, and I have a hit list of brands I would like to purchase, Strike Gold being up there. I have owned the 21XX and 51XX denim, but my style is leaning towards the XX03 fit nowadays so it does cancel out some of the denim types (31XX unfortunately, 50XX, 81XX, 99XX). The mud-dyed (beige?) of the 21XX fades always look so good to me. The 51XX looks very reminiscent of the SE x Imperial 14s. Then again, the 71XX has this almost pixelated look when worn in. I think I'm leaning towards the 2103 but got plenty of time to think about it, wondering if anyone has some recent evos on any of the above?

Their mud-dyed denim is really cool..

If I had to venture out from the more conventional denims on the market it'd probably be at the top of my list

  5. @shredwin_206 I was working on something at just below waist height for a bit. I kept resting heavy loads down on my leg. I didn't realize how bad it was until I washed them

@Ciabatta it's full of character and holds it's color well, I really look forward to wearing them more

Man, those are gorgeous. What model?

The denim is the XX2 and the cut is the 01. They're the best looking/feeling jeans I've ever owned. Trying my hardest to not fuck them up like I usually do
