*Personally* loving the alterations. I've always loved seeing vintage denim that had been altered, although I can't specifically recall seeing a pair of Levis of this time with belt loops added I can only imagine there are many in existence and refuse to believe otherwise... @Dr_Heech could maybe confirm or refute this. Maybe in the late teens?

What's the consensus on the most unique denim to TSG regarding their "core" denim? I'm heading to Japan later this year, and I have a hit list of brands I would like to purchase, Strike Gold being up there. I have owned the 21XX and 51XX denim, but my style is leaning towards the XX03 fit nowadays so it does cancel out some of the denim types (31XX unfortunately, 50XX, 81XX, 99XX). The mud-dyed (beige?) of the 21XX fades always look so good to me. The 51XX looks very reminiscent of the SE x Imperial 14s. Then again, the 71XX has this almost pixelated look when worn in. I think I'm leaning towards the 2103 but got plenty of time to think about it, wondering if anyone has some recent evos on any of the above?
Their mud-dyed denim is really cool..
If I had to venture out from the more conventional denims on the market it'd probably be at the top of my list

@shredwin_206 I was working on something at just below waist height for a bit. I kept resting heavy loads down on my leg. I didn't realize how bad it was until I washed them
@Ciabatta it's full of character and holds it's color well, I really look forward to wearing them more

Just for you @shredwin_206
Cowboys and other WH pairs that have seen some wear the past couple years
WW2 Cowboys
DSB 1936, maybe a month of wear
Oil, Golden Gate paint, many bad days
Duck Digger 1943. My all time favorite pair, no contest
25th anniversary 1001XX 50s. Banner, correct? Great cut but the denim sheds indigo comically fast with each wash. Really dislike that
Duck Digger 1946. Denim is so good and the cut is perfect, also kind of saving these
Regrettably removed the arcuates after one side started to go
Most importantly WH jeans fit me well, I have yet to put on a pair from them and not go "These are the best fitting jeans I've ever worn". That said, if I buy another pair of jeans this year can the mods please ban me

Here's my S406XXX at probably year of real wear. Some days light, some very very hard
One pleat fully intact. Second button was replaced after getting caught in a grinder
Some minor fraying on both sleeves
Getting lighter in color

In the market for a new jacket, looking at Warehouse. Not sure what's in the pipeline over there but am probably gonna jump on the next drop if it's something I like
Have been eyeing that Heller's Nonpareil jacket, saw one posted up on Grailed in my size, too. May be the one?

Man, those are gorgeous. What model?
The denim is the XX2 and the cut is the 01. They're the best looking/feeling jeans I've ever owned. Trying my hardest to not fuck them up like I usually do
