"Earlier in the week, he zipped over to Portland for meetings with Nike—evidence of which rests, in prototype form, in his hotel room"

More Nike Collabs on the way?

Of course we have more collabs on the way. I remember E telling us there would be more Nikes as he released the final season of Nikelab ACG. Hoping for the use of interesting silhouettes, fingers crossed.

A friend just got these and isn't sure if they are legit. I know there are pretty good fakes out there now so any one have any idea?
Size tag looks off and the care tag has misspelt words which leads me to believe they are fake but just wanted to get a second opinion/s to confirm (as the person he got it from insists they are legit).

    Thanks

I had 2 x different J50-S and got rid of them cause I couldn’t stand the raccagni zipper. It is quite nice with the stotz layer and feels bulletproof but personally I infinitely prefer the J50-WS and J78-WS. J50 is quite fitted indeed if you ask me vs 78 so I prefer that as a liner. You could always size up on J50 but I always think that looks sloppy as the shoulders won’t align etc...

I’m curious what made you dislike the Raccagni zipper, since I love the one on my J47R. Was it a longevity issue?

Usually most samples come in size M. Erlsn wears medium as well and I believe he is the main testing person.

The hood is paclite? I checked the J1A video again and the hood looks to be E- as well as the whole jacket. However there was a E-J1A on grailed in size L that had paclite hood, but came with the pocket and olive jacketsling (while yours looks like there is a black one) I also think someone removed the flak pocket, as @Dolphinski pointed, noone ever had samples.

    The hood is Paclite yes.

looks like a ss08 EJ1A, someone might removed the pocket

The large stitching on the front does not make ANY sense at all.

I believe it’s identical in every way to the 08 J1A, including zippers, gravity pockets, nextec Epic tag, interops, etc etc.

The stitching on the right of the front panel is for the inside pocket as you can see here.

  6. Hi guys. I wanted to see what the SuFu Acronym community has to say about this piece.

I am almost certain it’s a sample version of the E-J1A from (I think) 2008. What points me to this being a sample is the lack of stitching around where the flak pocket would normally be(highlighted in red), which means no pocket was ever attached to the jacket.

The jacket needs some work but is in overall great condition and I’m glad I picked it up. Please let me know your thoughts, especially whether you think it’s a sample or not.

What? No one in the history of history has Acrnm samples. Either that's a J1A-S or E-J1A with the flak pocket removed or it's a fake.

I would say it’s a E-J1A with the flak pocket removed but there is no stitching where the pocket would have been.

Apparently it was bought at a trade show in Berlin, so the sample route is what I am going for until I get more info.

Feel free to message me on Instagram @chegustav or on here for more info.

  8. Hi guys, I am looking for a price check or an interest check on my S-J14.

It's from SS10 and a size large, unfortunately I do not have the bag or specsheet, and the jacket originally came with a 3A-SR1, which I do not have either.

Good condition overall, with a very small hole in one sleeve and a partially cut pull tab on one side. Probably a 7.5/10 considering age.

How much do you guys think I should put this up for on the sales thread? Thanks in advance.

Also I'm posting it here because it's quite an old item and not much info is available online.

S-J11(being wearing it a while) and S-J14(no sure this the prototype from that vid.oh yeah, i might met one before) are both white ETA and they do both milk white to me and not so much snow white.

for sure caring of stotz being my headache,  good luck to users buying j68 white though.

As far as I know, S-J14 only released in black, and the white one worn by E in the Acronymjutsu video is a prototype or a one off.

Perhaps these complex washing instructions are the reason why E has held off from producing white Stotz  products so far, I am pretty sure the S-J11 and now the J68-S are the only white Stotz Acronym jackets out there.
