Hi guys,

Looking at 1904 shorts, and was looking for advice on sizing.  Should I go true to size in hopes that they will stretch over time or go up one size?  I got momotaro shorts and the thighs are quite fitted, was hoping for something more relaxed but worried about the waist being too big.  I usually get my denim in size 34" waist.

Still, all stretched out now!

Same here... I just gave my shirt a quick wash, wore it wet over a sweatshirt... that did the trick, its much better now.

Looking to pickup SJ42CP.  I usually get size 34 in denim which stretches to 35 and the fit is good.  What size should I be getting in these? do these stretch like denim?

Nice... its already baggy as it is, just proportions seem odd.  I wonder how often they change their cuts.

Yeah thats not the case with mine... I guess they may have changed the cut on it on the last batch.  Its slowly stretching, I guess I will deal with it.

Do you guys find the sleeves narrow on the 5335? or is it just a matter of brake in time?

with the old Jin denim you got quite a bit of additional shrinkage over the year - not sure about the latest (3rd) installment.

@Foxy2, I wore the jacket today... it was raining, the denim started to mold to my body, I have to say the sleeves look slightly better now... I think this size will work for me.  The denim is like nothing I have felt before, very slubby... highly recommend it.

There was so much I wanted to to like about the 710s but they always felt like a dense rug that faded well when I wore them. The S511NBK has all the charming details (tab/arcs, great back pocket shape) I wanted in a pair of Samurais, but in a better fabric (in my minority opinion) and in a fit I much prefer.

Yes they are long... my guess is they will settle once you brake in the denim... 

@Foxy2 , Thanks... this would be the Yamato jacket... I got size 44.  What are your measurements and what size of jacket do you wear?

Haha.. the fabric must feel nice! how are the fades on these? Im deciding between IH overdyed 14oz and Samurais... the only thing that may turn me away from them is the sewing, any issues there?

nice fit... how comfortable are they? look pretty tight?

Fit check...too big? will the S111XJ shrink after a hot rinse? this is a One wash version.  Thanks

Hey guys, got my first Samurai jacket, a little concerned with the stitching.  Is this normal of Samurai? should I be asking for a replacement? my main concern is that the stitch is running off the fabric.
