  1. Watches and Denim

I was thinking the same thing. I don't have good luck with the way traditional leather/cloth bands fit my wrist, but I may try one of these "button stud" bands at some point.
  2. Watches and Denim

Got this Seiko recently, my first automatic. It came on a fabric band, the band I put on it is a cheap one from eBay that doesn't quite match (the watch is more brushed) but it's not too bad. I considered going at it with steel wool or something, but I probably won't. I may instead buy a better bracelet at some point.
  3. Watches and Denim

I generally like the look of the Nato straps, but in practice they don't fit my wrist nearly as well as a bracelet (watch ends up offset towards the outside of my arm). I'm in the process of switching all of mine to bracelets.
  4. Sage

They have them on Massdrop sometimes, then they are shipped from Massdrop and the shipping price is much more reasonable.
  5. Watches and Denim

Thanks! I'll most likely pick up a Seiko 5 of some kind, they seem to hit the apex of low price and quality.
  6. Watches and Denim

You guys are inspiring me to get an automatic! One thing I've always wondered though, does it hurt the watch if I don't wear it all the time and it stops? I always remember my mom yelling at my dad about her watch stopping again, and jesus can't you make it not happen?? It always seemed like excessive drama.
  7. Waywt 2018 (denim version)

Chippewa boots Japan Blue 05S12 (still new) Rothco (with winter liner, pretty warm even in 10 degree winter weather)
  8. Watches and Denim

I have a tendency to bash my arm against the wall while I'm walking around. It results in scratches (or cuts if I'm just wearing my skin) so I generally wear cheap watches. These are the 2 I'm currently rotating between. The band on the Casio is just a cheap one from ebay.
  9. Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

I haven't been in the game long enough to make too many mistakes. That said, I won't buy any more tapered fits. I got fat calves and straight leg fits me better. This is a pretty info-rich thread btw. (I came from reddit so I'm not used to that)
  10. I got a pair of Leftfield Cones recently (right after the closing was announced). The denim seems kind of bland but I don't have too much to compare to (N&F and Japan Blues are probably closest?). All are new this year so no fading yet. I grew up on Cone Levis, the Leftfields seem about the same (not counting the details Leftfield puts in). Loss of jobs seems more important than loss of denim.
