Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

I have the laserdisc box set of the Star Wars movies still. No laserdisc player any more though.

I personally am planning to not really post any updates, and then just come in at the end with (hopefully) a super-faded pair. But I am enjoying everyone's progress.

@srudy Nice pics! I wish there was something like that within a day of me, but there isn't. Also I am intrigued as to how that vehicle got down by the water in that first pic.

    Pandemic Masks

@SuperJackle Yes, they have a nose wire, and the ear loops come with a little adjuster to make them fit better. (they are elastic also, so this may mitigate stretch). Hope you guys like them! I mean as much as you can like a mask, anyway.

Mine are not "heritage" but I do have one from Etsy that's chambray. My favorite, though, is from Outdoor Research, it's easy to breath through and came with some extra filters. I also got some "PM2.5" filters from Amazon, although I have a feeling that the coffee filter I was using before is just as effective. However, I need those for coffee! I have one without a wire, but I definitely prefer the nose wire. Otherwise my glasses fog up. I need to find one with head ties and a nose wire for extended use, the elastic ear loops work fine but they get annoying.
  6. Thanks! That's kind of what I was thinking. I don't wear them every day, and they are not super nice or anything (crazy horse leather). I'm more of a "beat up" look person anyway.
  7. Should I get shoe trees to use in my boots (Chippewa)? Anyone have experience with Woodlore?

Nothing to show here either. Surprisingly enough wearing jeans at a desk doesn't fade them. Who knew? Anyway it's about to get colder here so the temps will be right for hiking and stuff in jeans.

What are your jeans doing today?

That actually sounds really good! Here in the USA we have pumpkin flavor mania in the fall (actually starting pretty soon I think). Last year I bought some "Pumpkin Pie Porter" and it was super sweet... exactly like a bad pumpkin pie, actually. I generally do like a vanilla stout though.

@Double 0 Soul I really like that door! Not so sure about that stout though... is it sweet?

I didn't wash mine in the machine yet, but I did cold soak them with Woolite Dark. They are feeling like they need another wash but I wouldn't say they are itchy.

@bartlebyyphonics Just to confirm what you said a few pages back, my 38OW started out tight (waist only, everywhere else seems fine to me) and are quickly becoming my most comfortable pair. I actually suspect that if they had started out bigger and still stretched the same amount, they would feel too big now.

My picture is comically bad, but those are the jeans, and the iPad is displaying the front page of the local paper with today’s date. Temps are pleasant today so I think I’ll be wearing them all day. Good luck everyone!

Only on the patch, at least for mine.
