Nice update mate. Those paraboots are looking good too

I’ve liked the black denim I’ve owned from both Sugar Cane (2014 cut) and Orslow (107 cut).

I like some of the Indigofera overshirts. I almost pulled the trigger on a gunpowder one not long ago.

Those Visvim’s are nice, mate.

I don’t understand this seasonal shopping conundrum you all speak of. It’s 60-65 degrees year round here in the Bay Area. My wardrobe is consistently “fall” type stuff, and I currently don’t own a heavy coat or a pair of shorts.

Anyone have any experience with Novesta or Bata Heritage?
I got a pair of Noveta from DSW for $24. They felt kind of cheap and didn’t last long but I can’t complain too much with the price I paid. I found the sizing true to size.

I also live in SF so I may have to pick it up...

Forget the 70’s headache and get lofgrens. They’re not that much more but they’ll last longer, and it’s better than giving money to the Nike empire.

Yes! This makeup has been ordered by The Bureau Belfast and should be with them around in the next couple of weeks- please check with them directly for availability. The colour comes out really nicely on the jute.
Is this in reference to the verdigris jacket currently on their site, or will there be more of a mint colored one similar to the past wallaby?

Here's some fit pics of my PBJ https://supertalk.superfuture.com/topic/117942-pure-blue-japan/?do=findComment&comment=3273160
Have you checked out reddit’s raw denim page? I think you’d like it because the topics are more related to the cuts/brands you seem to like, and people are more receptive to answering basic questions from people with a more recent interest in denim.

Really nice pickup, Mason. I’m looking forward to seeing the fit.

William, I really like the butterfly jackets you’re wearing above - particularly the ecru one. It’s nice that it’s more cropped than typical Tender stuff. Do you know where I can pick one of these up here in the states?

Thanks for the advice above on shoes. I went with the Sanders for Japan collection currently available at Clutch Cafe...

I’m in the market for a pair of officer shoes that I can wear as a casual dress shoe for work. Some options that caught my interest so far were the Phigvel service shoes or the Sanders Military Collection, but unfortunately they don’t seem to be available in North America or Europe. Any recommendations out there on a sub-$500 derby in this style with inexpensive shipping to the US?

I usually like an 11” front rise, but honestly I pay more attention to the back rise. I get a serious case of diaper butt if the back rise is too high or if there’s too much material in the top block.

^Nice Oris. In my experience many of their watches are a great value.

Looking into buying my first pair of Resolute (710 preferably), and was wondering if anyone knows how they compare to a pair of orSlow 107s? Rise, fit etc.
Sizewise I would guess I'm anywhere in the 29–30" range, seeing as I wear a size 1 in orSlow 107s, and have a couple of 29" 3sixteens, but the 3sixteens fit too snuggly, especially in the thighs. I would rather have some room in the waist than no room in the thighs.
I am 5’8” and 145 lbs. I wear a 1 in the OrSlow 107, but the 29 in the topblock of the 710 was too snug on me. The size 30 was a lot more comfortable. Also, pay attention to the inseam on the 710, as they can run small. Brogue carries multiple lengths:

I’m really looking forward to SS18. Any US shops going to carry this season’s jackets/shirts?

also if im a 2 in 105 is that going to be consistent with the french work pants and fatigues too
The shirts run fairly large. You may be good with a 3 even if you want a more drapey fit.
