Damnit! Guess you’re not up for a trade with a 33 ;-) nice fit, good luck!
Sorry buddy I probably could make it work, but not really willing to let 18 months of contest rely upon me keeping an incredibly tight diet! hah!

Woop, there it finally is!
Shipping notice says I should have my pair on friday. Just in time to do an extra wash and dry them before tuesday. Here's hoping!1 -
Refs!! Refs!! This guy's cheating over here!

That's funny Duke/Bartle, I just started reading The Black Dahlia which opens with the zoot suit riots in the first chapter! Great book so far.

Anyone here with an OW order gotten their shipping notice yet?
I'm starting to think I won't have my pair by sep 1st with the way Danish customs usually operate.

If mine fit remotely like yours, @longshanks, I'll be one happy camper.
Excellent stuff.

Mine arrived today... left Japan the 19th.
crazu fast shipping for sure. Even in these pandemic times.very impressed with this pair. Though I should have gone a size bigger it seems. I can just button these up... Guess I’ll be going cold soak/wash only on these...
Unless someone has a 34 and wants a 33 that is... ;-)
I might actually need a 33 instead of my 34 because I am losing weight pretty rapidly.
Will have to see and feel it out once my pair gets here. I will PM you!

Man, I can't be the only one who chose OW/hemmed that's feeling kind of anxious right now, haha!
Those of you who did, btw, are you going to soak and or wash or just rock them right away? (After sep 1st obvs...)

EDIT: Changed to 86 as per the chart (Ryo said 43 across)
For any of you size 34's out there,
Ryo confirmed to me the actual waist measurement of the size 34 used for the promotion shots is indeed 86cm.
So that size, unless actual mass production changes it, should be correct as per the chart.1 -

Fuck - I thought when I’d deliberated, cogitated and digested (thanks Loyd) and finally got on the list there’d be maybe a handful or so after me. Turns out I’m only halfway down now ...
Same brother, we're looking like early risers now (#55 here), hah!

Finally got my order in for a full tux. Ended up going with 36 OW for the jeans as that's what I know from my 50's even though they're a tad bigger in the waist than I'd like. The reasoning being that 34 probably would be too slim overall and I can always shrink them fuckers a bit, going the other way is harder.
Really looking forward to this and good to see some fellow danes @Facini and @YossarianRaw.
Enig, makker!
Where are you guys located? We should meet up during the contest and take some pics

And that's 100! Wow!

So I asked Ryo with my measurements and size what size I should go for comparing to the 20s because that’s the only jeans I have from tcb. He recommended the same size(33), and they both measure the same at the waist.
about posting here and winning - I signed in because of the contest but I’m really enjoying the content and community so far. I’d have bought the 40s regardless of the contest, but a contest is always cool.
as for some contest smack talk -
I’ll just add that these happened in 18 months of rotation with 4-5 other pairs of jeans/trousers, and no contest, so just imagine what it’ll be like with a contest.
Omri?

Outside of people who do hard larbor, I think I could smoke pretty much anyone in a contest if I really put my mind to it.
I wear one pair exclusively at the time and between bike commutes and double-toddler duty there's really great opportunity for fading.
(Way too little smack talk thus far gentlemen)

@Uncle Karl looking super smart on the prototype S40s.
168cm 78kg | He is wearing S40 one washed in 34 | His size for 50’s Jeans is 34 as well
That's a banderassmile.gif for me right there. Great fit.
Also really glad I didn't go for size 33 since I'm Karl's height but 83kg... On a good day

After careful consideration and the realisation that my penchant for craft beer and board games (Arkham Horror LCG for all you nerds out there) has slabbed on a kilo or two in the mid section, I finally landed on a size 34OW.
Count me in alongside Ar Thor and Facini as a Danish contestant, if you please, Volvo.

Ryo told me he thinks the denim will stretch quite a bit. To use his words 'will have a good room for the stretch'.
Him and Inoue-san mentioned in the insta live with volvo that it will likely also shrink a lot.
