  1. Man...I see people hatin in this thread. The game has always been like this to E when he's just out here tryna eat. Real SuFu OG's and AcronymHeads see this time and time again. E is just out here trying to be on his hustle making the freshest garmz and jawnz. If brokebois cant cop up on the new fresh jawnz they're always going to be out here hatin. Regardless, I don't mind thrown down 2 racks on a grail like the ACRNM 3a-1 olive XPAC. Stay mad brokebois and haters.

  2. Anyone know of other brands using Schoeller Dryskin w/ 3xDry? Have P-10 DS and love them. Want some more pants, but dont really like other Acronym designs, P23,25,24 etc.

What are some good alternatives? Looking for a Cargo pant. I have found stuff from Onu.is, Outlier 60/30, and the TAD Vector SC, might get the Vectors and alter the leg opening a lil.

Any recommendations? Anyone else in the Dryskin fanclub :)?

There's no way to reverse it, but you can take advantage of Arcteryx's generous warranty. I basically only wear apparats (both shorts and pants) and when they start to wear out I send them back. So far I think I've gotten at least three or four pairs replaced over the years with no issues. Also helps to hang dry them rather than using a dryer. edit: this should work just as well with pants you bought used - I've never been asked to show a receipt or anything. Albeit for that pair there is a chance they will say that they reached the end of their "natural life" due to the uniform wear and apparent age, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Wow four pairs! Good to know, yeah I hang dry, hand wash inside out, whole 9 yards. Really hope newer iterations of the Apparat can utilize a better and more durable fabric. I get that this is office-urbanoutdoorwear, but it just seems a bit much to have to get them repaired. Appreciate the info.

    On a semi-related note...

What shoes do you guys like to wear with your Veilance pants? I only see them styled with Common Projects, and I find it a tad bland. Share what you guys have found out works, and maybe some pictures. This is a huge challenge for me. I own Indisce, Apparat, and Align. Typically enjoy wearing Nike Mercurials with Indisce and Apparat.

Thanks. Looks like I'll have to buy another pair of the Apparat pant in 28 before they stop making them at that size. I've worn the black/dark navy version religiously for the past few years and it's starting to show its age.

Any idea on how to stop this process? I bought a used pair of Apparats a few months ago and returned them because they looked more gray than anything.

I then bought some off Ssense, and they were a nice black and held their color through one hand wash w/ woolite. A couple more washes later and they're turning this faded gray color. Kind of a bummer for some 400 dollar pants if you ask me...anyway to stop this/reverse it?

The align was an AV winter shell that was designed to accommodate layering. Think of it as the AV Beta AR. Though trimmer than mainline, the Align is considerably roomier than other AV shells. For reference I wear a M in the Arris but a M in the Align. I'm comfortably able to layer the Mionn (past season) under the Align. This picture displays the Align's layer abilities and fit the best. With some digging you can find some more fits of it from the original Haven editorial.

Re wrist adjustor: Most AV do use elastic; however, the Align uses a strip of webbing floating between the face fabric and the wrist liner with a Cobrax snap at the end. There are two positions for the the snap to attach. As you pull the strap, the entire piece of webbing moves and cinches the wrist. The snap works by sliding to lock and unlock, as opposed to the conventional lift and press to fasten. You won't be too bothered by the additional length if any.

Thank you and thank you  and to everyone else for the very informative replies. I really like those Cobrax snaps on the adjusters. They are one of my favorite details on the Apparat. I plan to do some light layering with a thinner mid-layer similar to an Arc-Teryx Bravo, so it looks like I should be fine.

I'll post some fit pictures once it comes in from Australia.
