Will it be a boy or a girl?

oooooof! thanks for sharing; honoured to be in the thoughts bank...
early model duck always so good & pants looks v. good... [no yoke is interesting]
looks exactly like a proper last hurrah, thanks for sharing...
this is a much better proper proper goodbye for lvc than than the faded pocket flapped triple pleat...
[been wearing my lvc 1870/80s tux around with happiness today; 9oz top & bottom is nearest to a tracksuit I've felt in a while... also been very enjoying the '55 cut; definite good feng shui tailoring jiggery pokery happiness going on there: unobtrusive leg but spacious top box and ankle...]
but alas; looks like the sizing on last duck pants wont accommodate my gaijin gut [the 36, the biggest size, wont get where I need it [I like space]...and duck isn't known for stretching...]

sub much preferred to daytona (pikachu or otherwise) on this side of the tracks... best of the 3 imo

late to the last discussion of 20s: I wore with belt over suspender buttons no problem... and yes; very nice denim that is lightweight but not paper thin... but after the huge rise of the s40s, the rise on the 20s is definitely feeling a wee bit wee [but nicely in proportion with the cut] ...

down the horological rabbit hole, back out with a tisell with horological flowers
[whilst in Geneva had the chance to gawk at quite a few things down the rue du rhone; the Richard Mille shop only had one piece in the window, whilst plastering the airport with these crazy pieces... from my brief looking in general the winners in the Swiss game are the divers of Tudor Pelagos and Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, but in general have my eyes much more on tool aesthetics of Seiko and Sinn]

oh yes:
the '76 and that triple pleat; pretty strong last hurrahs from cone!
the denim on both is >chef's kiss<

I guess I hold a special place in my heart for the late 1800s lvc offerings, as they have made some nice ones; had both the late 90s triple pleat [which was inaccurate, but balanced] then the more recent one; both great jackets; this one feels a little sad for the company to go out with...

The girl in the Levi’s shop that sell lvc in London said ss23 is the last season for lvc is this correct? Can anyone confirm this?

i modified this question from another hobby's forum:
what's the one pair of jeans that sealed your love of jeans? share a comment or a pic!
these... stf non-selvedge 501xx, bought in nyc same time as flat eric was beating the tv waves back in '99 ... after that it was all 1870s lvc and evisu; but this pair was the thin edge of the wedge...

calling @crownzip over to this thread...
for me; nothing special, a x-post; but staying with the volumes for wintery feels
m-65 / tcb / stan ray / tender / timberland

no bragging right fades here, but been wearing this pair of 132 from raw for a good while between various other rotations...
starting to get results...
lovely slow burner; enjoying the multi blues of the standard denim dye very much...

a cross thread jump: from the warehouse / signet grief discussion; I realised I missed a lot on pg.293 of this thread!
So sending late internet good vibrations to your children @AlientoyWorkmachine & @shredwin_206
sending condolences to @Dr_Heech; a sudden death is less painful for the afflicted but can cause so much shock for those left behind; my thoughts are with you...
in terms of, same page, @Double 0 Soul; yes yes yes to Mark Fisher re: end of change in decades; I asked him to be my external examiner for PhD back in 2014 or so; a very generous examiner he was... the world is much sadder place without his insight (and David Graeber's for that matter ...)

thanks all. happened near around / before the time of @oomslokop's heart attack... didnt really want to mention it then!
Hopefully its the end of a bit of a wave: I've done eulogies for two uncle and now a father in the last three years!
Take care of yourselves and your loved ones ppl!

best wishes @srudy; my father passed recently too; bad feels for sure... thinking of you
@Jared_Lee; yes yes yes; all there is to say...

thanks @AlientoyWorkmachine... love the perfecto, but is harder to wear inside with all its hardware, whilst the a2 is designed for sitting in a structure, and the collar has a lot going for it...
American presidents of all ilk get shoved in them so they never quite have the bad-boy-Brando hang over even with the McQueen hauntology... plus the Adam Driver recent prosthetic tubby Netflix outing takes the cinematic machismo sting out of them...
the flight jacket thread has pretty much all info needed on them, but to repeat: acme depot is great resource on different aspects of the contracts issued in their lifetime, Goodwear is the Roy of a2 world... and a trim fit that I like that, crease wise, shows how tight they can be in the armpit is this YouTube wearer...
plus, yes; this is a good, albeit more conventional bad-boy, a2-chambray-moc-toe outing that never gets as much internet forum time as Jimmy Stewart etc...

13 minutes ago, MJF9 said:TCB sizing is - as we've seen - all over the place... it's a bit of a punt buying new models especially
On the S40 jacket, a size 42 has chest 51cm and shoulder 46cm
The chore above is also size 42 but with chest 65cm and shoulder 51cm
So a big variation, even allowing for the lining
This model has the back vents which give extra expansion - mobility is ok and yep agreed on no bulky jacket layering - already lined jackets with layers, in general, give me that Michellin Man feel!
yup... how is the duck canvas? the seam crinkles already drip with umami...
